Yeah these are amazing members of society, contributing wonderful and beautiful things. They are amazing farmers and tradesmen and educators. I'm sure they are excellent fathers and all around. Wonderful people that contribute way more to society than they take. Thank goodness people like this are out there in the world making the world run smoothly and beautifully.
Lot of ppl don’t see this side of the hood. The light hearted, welcoming, comical side of ppl. I’ve always had this vibe from wherever I am. Long as you’re not stepping out your lane, approach with respect and honesty, you’ll generally get the same back. Don’t take anything too personally and stay up, stay alert, stand up for yourself if tested, and they’ll respect you. All good!

He also does a great job treating all his guests with respect and empathy. As a result his guests fuck with him and open up to him a lot faster than interviewers with a similar schtick.

I used to play dice every day for years with some dudes for small stakes. I played this game where you wanted to roll 6. I swear my buddy would consistently roll like 10 6's in a row. I thought the dice were loaded, but they weren't. Dude even switched dice with me and kept doing it. It really is a skill. He had some technique to do it and pretty much won 80 percent of the games he played. Some dice players are banned from casinos because of this.

There are a few techniques for throwing dice so that they rotate an exact multiple of 360 degrees before landing flat with the number you want facing up... similar to axe throwing. The reason that we shake dice in our hands before throwing them is to illustrate to our opponents that we arent setting up for a practiced roll. That's also why craps requires that you bounce your dice off the wall.
They aren't banned because they're skilled. They're banned because they're cheating. Most casinos have rules about how the dice must be thrown. Typically, they have to hit the alligator strip, they cant leave the table, they can't go over any of the dealers/stickman's heads, they have to be thrown 1 handed, and they can't be slid. If a person is doing anything to make the dice not roll then they are just cheating and you fell for it because you don't know any better. It's only a skill game if the shooter is playing with a bunch of ignorant suckers.
This sense of community is why as a white guy I always wanted to be there. I got questioned a lot but once they understood my intentions it was always love.
When he said if he puts down $100, the bookie has to put down $200 if the point is 4 or 10, thats because theres 3 ways to roll a 4/10 bit theres 6 ways to roll a 7. So since youre twice as likely to lose, the other guy has to put up twice as much.
