This “episode” is the heaviest one I’ve seen in a while from Tommy’s channel i have not seen much regarding this issue so I’m honestly surprised that some people can be so inhumane and selfish. We have to look at everything from all the possible sides (or at least try) because no matter what some people lose something and some gain something there’s never going to be a win win situation because there are more than 2 sides.
Ngl I am a Colombian who’s blessed to have been in this country for about 21 years now since I came when I was only 2 years old. I recently have been taking everything for granted and complaining so much about my job and school but In reality I’m bitching for no reason and this video touched my heart. To see those people outside the rails saying kids die trying to cross, that one guy lost his grandma and mother. These people want a better life and they give up everything to have it. Ima make sure I lock in and never take shit for granted again because i know what people would give to be in my position. Thanks for this amazing video tommy it was much needed!!😭💙

It’s totally awful that people are living like this and risking their lives, I 100% agree. On the contrary though, American cities such as LA where I live, are riddled with homeless, addicts and crime. Prices are absolutely insane- the more people that come here, the more American freedoms that we take for granted will be compromised. Economic asylum isn’t something the US honors, however, political asylum is- and many crossing are crossing due to economic asylum. Unfortunately, a lot of innocent people are being compromised: human trafficking and exploitation along the way from the bad seeds. We can’t be naive about what is happening. People cross legally and are pissed seeing so many people come over here because they feel it is their right. I swear I’m not racist or against anyone getting a better life, but as someone who works constantly and who already struggles with the inflation due to demand is disheartening. We need to take care of Americans and handle our suffering before we can take care of others. Maybe border reform would help, so people can be screened and properly cross the border for their safety and ours. Right now I think it takes like 5+ years to legally cross. I have a best friend who crossed the border to get here he talks very little about his story as it is rough for him but after watching this video and thinking of my friend I realize how privileged we are and how much these immigrants go through

I crossed the border at the age of 7. My Parents worked very hard to support us. Now I’m 21 in army reserves. I’m a full time firefighter . I hope my brothers and sisters the best of luck

My father crossed the border at the age of 13-14 with a group of friends. They all made it thankfully but the stories he tells me and then to see people like this breaks my heart. God bless those people
Thank you so much Tommy for shining a light on this topic. A lot of immigrants are really running away from the violence seeking asylum. My father and my 15 y/o brother are victims of it, they just passed away 09/10, a couple days ago. The cartel tried to recruit my little brother & my father fought until the end so they wouldn’t take him. My father watched my younger brother pass away while he was fighting for his life. May God rest their souls & everyone who has lost their life from the injustices in their country.
