Your movie shaped me so much as a kid I jumped out a 1st storey window at 4 years old (now 35). I had that exact teddy. My gran made it( I was obsessed and she was talented at craft) I finished watching the movie, thought. Yeah! Happy thought, (teddy!) got it! Second star on the right, carry on till morning?! I’ve got this..two moments till I go look…early nineties in Scotland. It was single glazing back then. So up on the window sill I am. Scouting for said star..I’ve CLOCKED IT! Or so my young mind thought…”Mum” I shouted “I’m off to Neverland” and BAM! Off I go with the boost of the 1st floor, not a second thought, not even as I sank like a brick! Didn’t even tense as I came crashing into the green grass of the front garden I was so focused on where I needed to go 🤣 the old man with the walking stick walking by got the fright of his life and reacted by leaping like an Olympian over the picket fence and scooped me up inside to my mother! Had a bruise for a while. Doctor was sort of amazed. I however, bruised and disappointed I forgot the pixie dust….and my middle names Peter 😂 so yeah..funny story
Interesting. Different than what we got. Not expecting another cut of this movie, but I would be interested in seeing it if it ever happens. Also, I hope Sony and Spielberg can dug up more deleted scenes.
1:14 That look from Rufio implies that his hatred for Pan would have had a much larger subplot attached to it originally. That is the biggest problem with this movie, it tells a story waaay to large for one film, this should have been a two-parter or if it needed to be one film, there is a lot of fat that needed trimming, no Thudd Butt intended.
I don't know if it was hatred so much as it pure stubbornness to believe that he was Pan. Even though part of him may have wanted to believe at times, he was simply in denial until he saw him flying like the Pan he knew long ago. Something tells me Rufio and Pan were the best of friends so it hurt him more than anyone when he left.
It would have been cool if they also showed this scene in the movie Hook, when Tinkerbell tells Peter Pan he should make himself remember who he was before!
