Everyone should take note at when he got hit at 1:18 … when you take your hand off to scratch your head, fix your clothing etc. you pause the retrieve and SO many times fish hit on the pause.
I saw brian dropping a duce this morning before hitting the bay. I caught some skinny ones too a couple of hours ago. Lots of sub 30 inch blues back there this morning.
Hey man do you think you can make a video on what lures to throw for striped bass during this time of year, as in what each lure does and what time of day to throw it and what color? I’d appreciate the help cause I’m brand new to it and it’d help guys like me especially since you’re my favorite fishing RU-vidr!
Awesome vid as always. Question for you...with sp minnows do you replace the trebles with a single hook? If so could you put amazon link to those hooks in reply comments. The treble hooks kill me.
@@GetReelBassFishingappreciate the response man…. The fishing expert himself haha. Saw u had a few in these vids was just curious if its much slower this year for u too!! Glad (and not glad) to hear LOL. Lets hope it picks up the next week or two!!!
Ah yes, the Bluefish or Pomatomus Saltatrix or as I and many refer to them as "the yellow eyed devils". Truly, the hardest fighting fish any angler can lay into and the true test of your equipment to say nothing of your arm strength. One more thing, please don't smooch bluefish. As you well know, Bluefish are insanely quick, and your video carrier may not go so well without any lips!
d9id you just say that bluefish was 30 pounds? hoping that's a joke, bud. 30 pounds is an exceptionally rare bluefish. the world record isn't much less than 30 lbs. a massive bluefish is 15 lbs. i've never heard of one being caught from shore over 20 lbs. biggest i have seen on video is 18. biggest i have seen in person was 15 lbs on my boga last year, and that fish could dam near bite the fish you're holding in half.
