I have got one hoover washing machine like that, but the clothes don't smells the softener when the cicle finish. I don't know what to do. Can you help me please?
c an you please tell me why when I put a wash on no 59 it completes the wash but when it comes to 1 the door will click open then the tim er goes back to 159
So the start, stop button and the play, pause button I learnt yes you can stop this when adding washing that you should of added but didn’t. But I assumed that I could stop this machine in mid dry cycle so I could test too see how dry it was after the lock symbol went off an engineer had been out too put this right. I wanted to talk too Hoover the company and when talking to them they said I could stop the Washer dryer in mid wash or mid dry. We rent ours and they had to be called out again as this feature still does not work if you leave it too do it full course
My washing machine is currently cycling through the wash options, duration and spin times on the digital display. A plumber has drained and said the plumbing side looks sound, is there a way to reset or stop this fault. Not sure if it’s a common issue or technical fault? Thank you
How long is the drying cycle ? I think I must be doing something wrong as I put it on hot heat and it shows 3.50 and it takes 3 goes to dry 2 face cloths, 4 Bath towels and 1 towelling bath mat
Mine is about 18 months old and now both temp and spin buttons do not work so no longer able to change temp to 90 degree wash its not an option on the app!
Great review, having used many of the old Hoover and quite a few of the new I find them easy to use with great results, do agree about the dispenser though !!
Just got one of these mint but second hand watching these video's before I use , mine is 8kg 1600 I thought if you got a 8kg machine you could put upto 8kg in it but the manual seems to say you can only put 3 kg in on daily 59 wash am I reading that correctly as this seems daft if its a 8 kg machine must admit im a little confused regarding this and I can't seem to find any viedos for this machine that helps clarify this , so if someone can explain I would be very gratefull even on mixed it seems to say you can only put in 4kg so whats the point of it being a 8k machine...??? And will / could it damage it if you put more in even if its under 8kg doesn't any make sense to me ...
Behind the front flap is the filter but there isn't a drain tube to pull out so best do a drain cycle then open the filter to clean it after you put as tray/towel underneath to catch any water on release then smear petroleum jelly around the filter groove before replacing to make it easier it time and prevent limescale dirt build up!
Hey I have the same machine, I bought it 2017 as the machine was on offer, and did the norm registered it for the guarentee ect,,,, Last month the motor was making some bad sounds it was sounding like a wailing cat, that is the only way I can describe it, and it was loud. I was was brazen and phoned Hoover up and told them I bought the machine a few months ago and they sent a engineer out and they replaced the motor on the app I put on my phone from 2017 to date its only worked 420 hours and the motor had developed a fault, Anyway to cut a long story short they replaced the motor, at no cost to myself eventhough its out side of the labour charges and it is really quiet now, and running better then when it did when I first bought it, so I would not take much notice of what the manufacture says about the guarente.
Ive got my new washer Tuesday 22nd September and cant get it to work, it flashes across screen and that all it does ive phoned them they told me what to check nothing wrong other then it wont wash please can anyone help thank you, june
Thanks for the review! I have been struggling with one of these as I believe it has a weight sensor in it which stops the spin cycle if things are unevenly distributed however this means that washing a large bath towel on its own can be problematic - Any suggestions?
@@skjenkins Thanks. Ill double check but pretty sure its level. Could it have something to do with the 9kg capacity and the small load ie. single towel or sports kit? Does it nd to be more full?
I have just bought one of these . I'm using the rapid wash 30 mins but it only spins on 1000, and not 1400 what I wanted is there anyway I can change this .thanks
Rapid 30 and all other quick washes should only be used for a very small load of lightly soiled laundry, therefore 1000 spin should be suffice. For daily washing your go to cycle ought to be a cottons wash with a temperature of at least 40 to prevent mould and limescale building up in the machine.
I've just this minute finished installing mine. I hate it already. The draw was the first thing I noticed, it doesn't even catch on mine. It comes out with no effort at all. Another issue I have is that it comes across as really cheap with the buttons and the dial. My old Bush model which I hated too had a much better feel to it. But I had limited cash so I had to get a cheap model and thus I have the Hoover.
DONT BUY IT I HAVE JUST HAD THE ENGINEER OUT TWICE HE HAS HAD TO STRIP THE NEW CIRCUIT BOARD OF OLD SOFT WARE AND INSTALL NEWER SOFTWARE FOR ALL PROGRAMS, IT KEPT MISSING AND CUTTING RINSES AND INTERIM SPINS, IT CUTS OFF MAIN SPINS BEFORE THE MAIN SPIN STARTS. SO THE HASSLE THIS MACHINE HAS GIVEN ME IS UNBELEAVABLE. I HOPE THIS TIME THE NEW SOFTWARE HAS WORKED OR I GET A NEW MACHINE. DONT BUY THIS MACHINE. YOU CAN NOT MIX YOUR LOADS YOU HAVE TO PUT LIKE FOR LIKE STUFF IN THE DRUM, TO BALANCE THE DRUM. IF THE FLOOR AND MACHINE IS NOT LEVEL TO THE FLOOR THEN YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH VIBRATION AND NOISE. THE DRUM IS VERY SPRINGY.
Just had a problem using 14m. Stopped and didn't drain. Had to manually drain. I think it is too clever and too sensitive. Wizard didn't work. You can stop it using pause and after a minute it will unlock and you can put in clothes you forgot to put in.
An issue seems to be the 9kg load only works for 2 of the programs - evocative 20 & cottons. Says in the manual that every other program is a fraction of 9kg. More frustrating and confusing than it should be🤷♂️
According to reviews (eg Argos website) the "One Touch" app is useless (doesn't work properly) and is pointless anyway. Having taken your clothes to the machine to load it, you might as well use the dial on the machine to select a program while you are there. A sales gimmick.
machine washes ok .. only one real big issue NFC feature doesn't work ( one touch ) so if your planning to buy one of their model stick to either standard unit or wireless
sorry, i don't know what all the error codes are, but i think error eo9 apparently indicates repair work needs to be done by a professional : " indicates a short circuit in the motor triac that controls the spin speed on the electrical module and will need replacing"
What about anyone who hasn't got a mobile phone? I'm babysitting and was wondering why I couldn't get my daughter's washing machine going! She's got TONS of washing after camping, and I can't help!
This is the worst machine i have bought, its a 1600 spin and it never does a full spin we have loaded it correctly and it still wont spin properly, We used to have a hotpoint 1600 spin and it would spin properly everytime overall we are very disapointed.
For the love of god do not buy a Hoover machine, I did and have regretted it ever since. It refuses to balance clothes so never gets to use the full spin speed and easy iron means that your clothes come out dripping wet. I had an Indesit before this and I am still kicking myself for getting rid of it. One more thing you will need a bloody good iron as I have never before seen clothes creased the way this hoover machine leaves them.
Agree absolute junk, can also add fails to spin with certain wash loads lost count of the amount of times have had to stop the machine, take out wet washing to wring it out manually ! DO NOT BUY !
Warren yes had the same problem about it not spinning and was told by the engineer (who I saw about 6 or 7 times for that machine) that you have to balance the load out ( I’ll try and explain as I’m not great at it on here) you need to open the door and try and space the clothes out so the weight is even all around the drum otherwise it sadly doesn’t spin - very annoying ! I got a zanussi now , thank god.
