I made it today with salted butter about 50 grams and 1 cup of milk instead of half. I also added kundol for texture. So flakey and taste divine! Thank you for sharing. This is a gem. 😊
i try it and im so happy sa results.. dami din until now hnd pa alam ung hopiang baboy coz they think may pork tlga tong halo.. kakaloka.. its just a name lng binansagan lng sya na ganun coz its much more siksik at malaki than ordinary hopia .. pero hnd tlga sya literal na may halong pork.. 😁😁😁 just saying pra sa ibang mag comment nanaman na nagulat dahil wlang pork ang ingredients na akala mo hnd pa nakatikim neto ✌️✌️✌️

We used to have a bakery for almost 20yrs and hopia was our specialty. Too bad I didn't get the recipe then but clearly remembered how it tasted and this one came so close. We just tweaked the filling by changing it to red onions cuz its tastier than white and added more.Thank you for sharing!

Hi Chef. Maraming salamat sa lahat lahat ng pag share ninyo ng recipes and tips to be successful in baking/ cooking. Makikiusap po sana ako na sana mashare ninyo ang recipe and procedure to make hopia hapon. I have been missing it since theres nothing like that here in the states. How i wish na paglabas ko ng bahay ounta ng palengke at bili ng hopiang hapon. Yung manipis at brown monggo lang po ba iyon? I hope i will get an answer. Happy 2022. God bless
Alam nyo po kung nasan ang baboy . Minsan nasa pag luluto baka baboy ang pag kakaluto . Ahaha joke lang po wag kayong magagalit ma'am nag bibiro lang po ako . Bata pa ako hinahanap ko na rin yan baboy sa hopia . So it came up to my mind na baka kaya tinawag na baboy kasi baka baboy pag kakaluto nya 😅
