1:08 I've never really had that problem, tbh. For instance, the only fighting game I have a hard time playing on the Joy-Con, or any of the other switch controllers I have for that matter, is Street Fighter. I can play every other fighting game my own for that system with little to no issues. That shit is crazy, especially considering I spent a great deal of time playing Street Fighter with the PlayStation controller
Yeah I think there is an brook adaptor you can buy as this is the only way to get a hori fighting commander for a normal price since hori have discontinued the PS4 version hence it's high price now
Does anyone know is this works with adapter on PS4? I have PC, Switch and Playstation so I want to know if it is possible to use on all three systems :)
Looking for a controller to play kof xiii cause my Joy-Con just aren’t cutting it and neither is my prismatic wireless so tempted to grab this, torn between this and the 8bitdo arcade stick
Hi dear I play SFV & thinking of buying powera fusion vs Hori fc? But I am leaning More for fusion because I play more of charge characters & 360 players like zangief? What do you recommend between the two?
I have sf6 on ps5, will a brooke converter bridge the controller to the ps5, can i map the left shoulder buttons to anything, can i map the ps button in the middle so i can reset during training
Switch now allows manual button remap in the native controller settings. This most probably will solve the button issue on the pokken you explained. Try it out. And let us know. ( RSB=right stick button LSB=left stick button )
How is the instant air dashing on the Hori Commander D- pad compared to the Power A fight pad's D-Pad for Switch... I want to get a pad for play Dragon Ball Fighterz on my Switch and my pro controller D-Pad and Analog stick is not great for inputting the super fast inputs for an instant air dash, and even jump cancels are kinda iffy on the pro controller... Any way, I am contemplating between the Hori Commander and the Power A fight pad.

@@derFati1 switch mappings ain't bad, on PC you can swap with ds4windows or steam controller UI(one setting to set and forget). And on switch, most games let you remap, and if not the switch has its own remap function. So reversed controls on a switch controller is pretty much a non issue these days. What I want to know is how it compares to the PS4 version, outside of the ergonomic changes.
There is an xbox one version but it's hard to find and expensive, is white in colour and works on series xs, xbox one, xbox360, and PC. Am actually going to sell mine and get a new nintendo switch one for half the price, haven;t played xbox for ages and using switch and pc to play fighting games now.
@@coachgonzalezpg1742 thanks, I got both version, switch and PS4, never tried it on PC though. I think the PS4 version is a bit better, the dpad is more accurate, switch version dpad is a bit less sensitive compares to pro controller, feels like you need to press harder.
@@Indiana-r9b I think you’re right, the ps4 version is a bit smoother and has a higher quality feel. I played on the ps4 version years ago, which is the reason I bought the switch version because I was familiar with the controller scheme. I will say that I had to download a program called “X-input” in order for the switch controller to work on pc, so anyone else planning on purchasing switch controller must do the same.
I guess I'll start by saying up front after stumbling on to your channel you're the reason why I purchased Power Rangers Battle For The Grid, and your review is the reason why I went ahead and purchased this controller, both were definitely great investments and I'm definitely glad I bought both said things, now on to my inquiry or content suggestion. I am a Switch owner, I don't have any other consoles though I want too but finances etc but I own and use both the Hori Fighting Commander and the Power A Fusion Fightpad and I was curious if you have used the latter and your thoughts on which controller was better in your opinion, I didn't get to purchase an official Pokken controller and now the resellers are definitely gouging but I do love the fighting commander but with the Power A option, though it's also 6 buttons all of the shoulder buttons are in line and traditional to a standard pro controller so no button remapping for Pokken, but yeah I would love to hear your take on a comparison between both controllers.
Seems like this is a USB controller and it can only connect to the Switch docking station which is the only piece of equipment that has the USB ports. Video failed to even mention this. The controller can't be used with the Switch in portable mode unfortunately. I really dislike the joycon buttons being used as a D-pad. What I'd like to know is if the D-pad is stiff or very loose. I prefer a loose D-pad, it's easier to manipulate when it's not so tight. I'm also not a joystick player as I'm always accidentally pressing up on the stick all the time.
Sorta, but not really You can only dash, like literally even if you just tap forward your character will do the full dash animation and everything and it makes stuff like dash cancels nearly impossible If you’re looking for a smash controller I’d highly recommend pdp’s GameCube style pro controllers, absolutely love mine
