This is pretty much how I felt about it, too. One part of me says you can't tell the story of the American west in a three hour movie, but I also think more to this if he was expecting people to come back to continue watching. Now I hear there will be four chapters. MAYBE. Depending on how the first two go.So, now do I watch the second one and maybe be left hanging because they don't want to go any farther? I loved the miniseries Centennial and I'm hoping this turns into something like that.
You walked out because it was boring?! 10 min into the movie was an exceptionally long, exceedingly violent Indian raid! Exactly what does it take to get your heart rate up and for you to be entertained? Or you to become interested? Or you to feel good those females were unearthed and brought out alive??!! If you were bored you need to take your simple minded requirements and go back to g-rated Disney movies. At my showing the audience cheered at the end. They understood the story, connected with history, enjoyed the content, and were thoroughly entertained. They were clearly not from the tell lies about Costner’s movie group!!
@@mircat28 Funny how you've only brought up the 1st 10 min and no other part of the movie... and even then-just because there's a violent action scene doesn't actually mean it's exciting, well-made or ties into the rest of the story! If your audience enjoyed it-if you enjoyed it, congratulations... no need to be an ass about it!
