Truly a nice battle! I am ashamed to say, I blast-slinged my way through fire claws and deathbringers, hit them till they die - it worked, but was darn costly and not smart, since my 10 year old daughter showed me the weak points could do so much more damage and she could even kill the ending deathbringer with poorly modded sharp shot bow. Thanks for posting, it's inspiring :)
Thank you 😁. I'd say it depends on your preference of what weapons you like to play with! If you can take em out with the slingshot and you find it fun, then go for it! Lol she sounds like a professional! Even with hitting certain weak points, I find some encounters to be quite difficult! Hope you are getting her Forbidden West next month 👍🏿
It's quite easy if you abuse the jump slow-mo shot using Ice Rail (with charge speed coils). For fire claws, just hit his chest and arm weakpoints so you can freeze him and he'll fall down in like 3-4 shots of ice rail after.
Death bringers we’re hard for my first play through but absolute cake on my second play through, frost claws weren’t bad but the fire claw too me forever on ultra hard. I ran through so much wire.
I mean, u really shouldn't be ashamed, without sounding cringy😂i was 14 when the game first came out, I was awful at it. Now I've got back into the game, and I actually play it properly now compared to back then when I let the villagers slowly take down the thunderjaw at the all mother mountain, as I hid and occasionally flung arrows at it
Fireclaw is very easy to fight even on ultra hard. Just use Frost Arrow then destroy its tummy to prevent him to buff himself. Then frost him again and used hard point arrow and shoot his face for insane damage.
Fav game . Can’t wait for the forbidden west. Playing it soon as it comes out lol.. but yea even on easy or story mode fireclaws/frostclaws will wreck you. They are a tough beast.
just beat ultra hard for all the face paints and focuses at once never doing it again if your doing it just for them skip all side quest you dont even need tallnecks dont even buy stuff from merchants its overpriced just keep moving
I played HZD on controller which was my 2nd game completed with controler after playing whole life on mouse and keyboard and its not that hard you just need to get used to it and you can aim like with mouse
Maybe it’s my load out but these guys on ultra hard, weren’t even that difficult. The pos final boss fireclaw was a different story tho lmao. Wish I could fight it for the first time again.
Wasted too many full damage triple shoots for rushing it. A double jump can do wonders. Good luck on ultra hard, is VERY challenging. QUestion: how do you have so much shards ??
never managed to like the combat system of this game. Looks good. Plays some what ok. Story is fine. Combat system, meh. I ended playing it on the lowest dificulty cuz i just wanted to see the story at the end.
@@doughboyjimmy4644 I just don't like playing bow in video games. I find the idea of pulling a string all the time boring. Mostly because of controller being inefficient of delivering high precision. So timing it all is pain in the but😁
