Nice video. I just bought this lock, so far so good. Installed it an investment property. I had to switch direction of lock because when I hit “unlock” it would lock; and when I hit “lock” it would unlock. It had me totally baffled at first.

Installed it would not work, wait for customer service to call back,they didn't call, so I put the old lock back on.The lock and customer service not good.

I am leery of internet hackable smart locks, but I guess they are no less secure than a regular dead bolt if someone really wants to get in.

This one u need an app to use but if u don’t use the gateway then it only work with your phone and Bluetooth so all local

I'm highly confident hacking an online wifi lock is vastly harder than breaking a window or kicking in a door (you can beef up doors so they can't be kicked in easily) unless your account has a password that someone could guess. Use Last Pass to store a very strong PW that you can't possibly remember or hack. Unless you are someone famous, no one is targeting you and your smart devices anyways.

Is there a quicker way to lock the door right when you leave? Press and hold the pound key for like 3 secs takes a little long. Wish it was a one touch quick lock. I dont like the timer lock either so I prefer to turn that off.
