Nice unboxing video, the little piece of metal that connect the tracks are called fishplates but as Thornaby37 said it can be a expensive hobby but if you know the right places you can get them cheap, like model railway exhibitions are good place to pick up second hand wagons from around £5 to £10 and there are great channels on RU-vid as well all about model railways

hey riku, i actually have the same train set along with a few others as i have a room in my house just for my model railway, ive got good old classics such as the hst and the class 91/dvt sets to ones like pendolino and also, it is really annoying when there is a power outage in my area (happens every now and again and always happens when im working on my model railway), it does get quiet annoying when midway through testing the track to see what maintenance i can do on electrification and track maintenance, great video as always, keep up the amazing content! If you are thinking of taking up model railways as a hobby, there are several RU-vid channels such as Anthony Middleport Junction, Crewe Basford Hall and Model Railway Quest which may give you some useful tips. But beware it can be a very expensive hobby

Riku have you worked out how large an OO layout would have to be to have an 8 car HST set, perhaps that’s why they only produce a three car set.
