Fascinating A4?, A4's History and Collectors set. I find this set hard to pass up and I can easily see it running in the McKinley Club time-lapse series. As always well done. Beautiful examples of OO scale models from the past.
Nice set Matt. One interesting piece of research I've just done. 27.56 according to an online inflation etc calculator in 1994, is now worth just under 69 quid. Highlights the absolutely ludicrous prices Hornby ask for poor products today.
Three different locos is a huge improvement on the 10 year old mirror image set with different name tags Matt. They look good and run welll. Great for anyone's collection. 👍 Happy modelling
After the Air Raid, the Tender was not that badly damaged. So it was repaired and then ran behind Bittern. A nice set. I like the A4s. Only 2 of them are Loco driven. Martin. (Thailand)
I love the older dublo locos, they have such a presence and literally thunder along. I still believe tender driven plastic are the weakest. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your comments.
Very interesting video, most informative. I found it particularly interesting as my A4 is a Hornby TTS sound Railroad ‘Gadwall’. I think I need the wartime 4469 ‘Sir Ralph Wedgewood’.
I remember seeing "Dominion of Canada" at Newcastle quite a few years ago but it was really Bittern in one other numerous guises. By the way its GADWALL
Nice video! Please be aware though the two differing levels of volume between the music and speaking parts of your excellent video. If your using in ear pieces when watching, this can be very unpleasant! I love your collection of collectables. Thanks!
