The mcdonalds down the street from me hired a manager from chic filet and had all his employees go thru chic filet training. He turned around that mcds location.
My brother in law ran a McDonalds and he made sure the employees did their job correctly and were very nice to customers. When he first took the franchise over that store was terrible. The food was never fresh and the employees didn't even thank you. He got them into ship shape. He had been a manager for several different fast food and some high class one's. Within a month or less he had fired most of the workers and hired better workers. I have noticed less than friendly service in most fast food places in the past several years. It is a sign of the times. America is not getting any better lately and i think it is mostly because government has taken over the young people. You can't discipline your own kids now. As a result many kids stay with parents into their mid twenties. Heck i have a son lying in bed right now and has never left home or even tried to find a woman. He is 31 years old.
Yep. Running out of product or containers falls on the person who orders those items and it is unacceptable. It is then when a manager goes to a nearby McDonalds and uses a box of their cups so they can bring another box to them when their order comes in. I have personally witnessed this multiple times from restaurants that ran out of items. It can be dealt with.
Unfortunately poor customer service is prevalent at most US Macdonald’s restaurants. The one in my neighborhood is horrendous. Rude, lazy people working there. I have been to Macdonald’s in Asian countries, and you would think you were dining in a 5 star restaurant. People are happy to be working.
I was at dunkin' donuts a couple of weeks ago and literally the people that was working in there or on some kind of a drug we got blueberry coffee and it wasn't even hot and we told him to take it back they took it back and then they gave us regular coffee which we didn't even tell him to it was supposed to be blueberry and it had no sugar in it so literally there was no sugar in it and they acted like they were spaced out like they were on some kind of a drug and there was no manager there so I'll never go back there again
I stopped going to any fast food places thirty five years ago based solely on who is there and preparing your food. Lamont, you did a great job in imitating the employee saying "I can't do dat". Perfectly put.
Get it right.. "Doxing" reffers to HOME ADDRESSES.. NOT a PUBLIC STORE/ RESTAURANT like McDonald's who even have their address & phone number printed on their receipt & PUBLIC WEBSITE so they CAN BE FOUND... So.. One time i was at McDonalds and i ordered some Tasty Cheese burgers and a Coke and i waited for it like 15 minutes and they gave me an extra Tasty Cheese for free for being patient.
This is how most fast food establishments seem to behave lately. It's rare to find one that has what I would call "mediocre" service anymore. And they want $15/hr.....as someone else stated in the comments. Unreal.
If you’re ever in Hammond again, I’d highly suggest getting a meal at Commodores or University Donuts if you can. Both locally owned restaurants with great food and service. Two of my favorite places from my college years.
When I used to work at a fast food place and we didn’t have a certain cup or thing our manager went to another location and asked them for spares so we can use at our location…
When people go off in the drive thru, trust me they are pushed to the breaking point. I should know almost went to jail at a Wendy’s, so I get it !! They be rude for no dam reason...
Fast food places in general got me messed up. I was doing a delivery order at Jack in the Box and got my bag but needed a receipt. Walked up to the window because the line was already around the corner by the time I was done. Well turns out, they also didn’t give me the correct order! So he said I needed to get back in the drive thru line because “shit’s all fucked up”. Truly unbelievable. 45 minutes of my life I will never get back. I don’t get how they were this bad. I’ve worked fast food. It works like an assembly line. There’s places that offer free food if you don’t receive a receipt. That should’ve been the case here because of how much time I wasted trying to get my receipt and the proper order. How do you mess it up?

How in the f*ck do you run any fast food places with no large cups? I feel your frustration right now this minute. I wanted to share this with you it’s just gross. Growing up we never took vacations went places on holidays. Twice in my life my parents took my brothers and I on what they called vacation. And no they weren’t on crack. One time to Biloxi, Mississippi the last time to Hammond Louisiana. There was not a damn thing there 40 years ago. Worst time in my life we checked into a cheap horrible hotel. We literally sat out by and played in the pool all day for 3 days. Oh we didn’t leave the hotel we had a loaf of bread, some bologna, chips, and in the cooler some punch. Disgusting. I don’t know what the he11 kind of holiday was that and why on Gods green earth did they take us there? We lived in Texas could have stayed anywhere in Texas. And what’s with all these people being Covid lazy? That’s what I call it because every person out there supposedly working has cut hours, half a menu to work with, yet they’ve all become lazy as can be.
I work at McDonald’s they probably were to lazy to look for them in the back my store never ran out of coffee cups and she definitely could have parked you and brewed a fresh pot she sounds like lazy B
i assume since the dude worked at popeyes before he would know you run out of stuff. They could have ordered it and it never came and they ran out. They could have a damaged box and ran out. So many things could have happened over running out of stuff. Especially during covid things are a lot slower stuff is taking months to get in. The entitlement you have is beyond me. I never heard of restaurant not running out of something. Not trying to rude or anything but your life must be pretty bad if you are ranting over mcdonalds not having large cups. Get over it, get a medium or see if they will give you two mediums and a small or whatever. This dude says she will amount to nothing but he pulls around a trailer and sleeps in his car. Its wasn't just about the cups... it was the coffee..it was piss warm.. BB wouldn't of just posted on the cups.. i wouldn't of paid anyone for cold coffee. Normal places make a fresh cup if its cold...not being rude AF to the person on top of...dont matter where u live house or a car..

The girl who was rude to you will probably one day own a restaurant of her own. You are being super picky and unreasonable. She may be 20 years old, but you have no idea if she has 2 kids. That was sexist on your part. File all the complaints you want, all they do is wipe their asses with the paper if is written on. Let go of that dollar and change you paid for the coffee, share it with a homeless person you see on the street. And yes, they do deserve $15 per hour.
