Horrifying night time in survival games 

I love how perfect Hamish is when it comes to doing creepy roles xD

From creepy, to nice, to horrifying within a few seconds. Man, I do love Hamish.

I like how wierdly in line with specific gameplay mechanics this episode is. Like, it's creepy af that he's naked but makes perfect sense in context cause he just came to give them free stuff and then respawn. It's weird that he's not moving around at all, but it makes sense because he was probably trying to figure out why he couldn't be heard, so was alt tabbed or something.

The fact that his name was IceCreamSenpai only adds to the amount of SHEER TERROR that Hamish brought to this skit...

Damnit, how is it possible for Hamish to be simultaneously so utterly adorable and absolutely terrifying? That’s acting, that is 😉 ❤

Hamish has the creepy act down to a perfect art. That little giggle absolutely sells it.

The respawn teleport explains why Hamish isn't wearing any gear, even though he's progressed enough to have mid/late game resources that he brought over as a gift.

That "they're here" deserves more attention. Its very well delivered and well focused shot.

I was watching the Souls supercuts again yesterday (As one does) and was thinking "Man, I love when Hamish plays a creepy little weirdo because you can see how much fun he has doing it, we need more of that" and then you drop this today. Love it.

I remember my first time trying to survive the night in ARK. The Island, beach. Spent the entire night being hunted by raptors and respawning over and over. Blindly running around in the pitch-black, sometimes managing to get a torch or campfire going before the raptors found me. Which didnt help much, it basically just let me see what was about to kill me.

How does Hamish pull off being both adorable and creepy? 😂

The production value and effects have really improved lately. Hopefully one day we get a sequel to Baelin's route, maybe this time covering the life of a certain garlic farmer...

Love this series so far as anyone who spent enough times in the survival genre can relate to these skits. Down the line I would love to see them react to things like new patch features, Admin Abuse, and the hard decision to leave for a fresh server to get away from toxic players.

I just started playing Rust this week and yeah the nighttime especially in the desert region is freaking terrifying. The animal noises of coyotes laugh-howling every other minute while you hear dogs and hogs shuffling and snorting in the dark closet by is horrific nightmare fuel. The only thing scarier is being stuck out late after dark at Launch Site and hearing the Bradley’s gears wheezing and whir-grinding as it stalks you like a damned Terminator.

I absolutely saw that going in a different direction, I thought he was just going to ask them if he could stay the night in their base since he was so far from his, not break his own neck so he could respawn... Now THAT was a proper subversion of my expectations! Loved the horror element here, Alan being a mere 20 feet away from his teammates with a naked man with his back to them had my skin CRAWLING and the moment he looked away from Hamish I was just thinking "Alan's gonna die... ALAN'S GOING TO DIE!!!!" Was pleasantly surprised when he made it back to his team.

Running around naked is something I do in Conan Exiles. It’s basically how you scout new areas without risking loosing all your loot. And yep, getting killed or suicide is sometimes the quickest way to get back to your own base.

2:59 I would genuinely love if Icecreamsenpai made a more regular appearance with this same running theme. Super friendly, super helpful, always willing to take time out to help his friends AND strangers, never butt hurt about losing or being griefed, etc etc etc etc…. But always presents the group with some of the most horrific scenario in gaming survival horror…. With a smile. “WHT ARE THOSE MONSTERS AND WHISPERING?!?!?” “What the hell are you talking about? There’s nothing there.” ICS visiting: oh that… that’s because of your sanity meter… the boogie man gonna keep coming after you until it flay’s you infront of your friends lowering their sanity meter… but that’s ok, you just gotta run off somewhere to die alone and come back to pick up your stuff. Player 1: [runs off into woods screaming] oh god it’s got me it’s gooot meeeee!!!!!! [wet gurgling and dry snapping crunch sounds followed by quiet dark ominous rasping laughter] Player 1 revives: oh hey guys! Player 2: whys everything gone dark?! ICS: oh that’s your sleep meter, if you don’t sleep enough you gain a curse of paralysis demons who paralyze you in the dark until you have rested enough…. Oh and they also suck up your sanity when they do this… Player 2: what’s that whispering and monster in the dark?! ICS: and that’s the boogie man.

OMG Hamish never fails to make me laugh (and sometimes, gives me the creeps!) His expressions -- so on point. Mad respect

That was so good. The "Ill just respawn", that man has a castle a kingdom and 3 alliances, he could erase your RAM if he wanted.

love the movements of looking around, where they look like they are moved by a mouse. it's amazing how they integrate small details while keeping the horror mood alive. which reminds me, that i would have definitely made a 1080 spin at the end, as i always do. though i understand that it would have killed the mood to actually put that kind of reaction at the punchline :'D great work as always :D

Kinda messed up because I am pretty sure everyone freaks out the first time they watch somebody "Killaporting". Funniest part of all this, I have seen this going down first hand, been on both sides of the spectrum, still gotta be one of the more unnerving things you will see in a survival game.
