I agree about changing our minds on films on watching again. Sometimes it's a case of getting older and being able to relate to things or just being able to like things that we don't relate to regardless. Great idea... (Small criticism is that Society (1989) didn't star John Stamos. Billy Warlock is the actor you meant.)

I had some indescribable feelings about Martrys the first time I saw it and i wouldnt say they were good. It was a horrific experience for me but man does it still play around in my thoughts. I still dont know if that makes me like it or not, but its one of the few movies that has ever done that to me

I can’t think of any wild swings I’ve taken but I certainly was super baffled by Malignant in my first blind viewing but watching it again after hearing other people’s thoughts and having a bit more of an idea on tone going in certainly helped it get to a baseline enjoyable ride for me 😆

Great idea! The one horror movie I can think about that I didn't like the first time and appreciated much more on a second viewing (years later) is The Babadook! I can't say the same for It Follows though😅

Its funny cause I don't have any 😅 Yet there have been a few that I sat through that were overhyped, and never watched again 😂 Appreciate the drop media 👸🤘🏼

At first, I wasn't to hype about Evil Dead 2013. I loved the nods to the original, but I have gone to like it a lot more than I thought I would. Also, this might sound massed up the Human Centipede trilogy, the first one traumatised but then I watched the other two and looked into it more and thought 'Hey this movie for a while did #£&% me up for awhile and no a lot can do that.' Now I look at it a think there is a did of originality in there I mean I done recall a body horror movie that has done an operation like that, they all just crazy movies I see them as now and I see the humour in it.

i think i would have enjoyed and appreciated the taking of deborah logan more if they didn't attribute the murder of young girls to "a native ritual" 🙄 when will horror movies leave indigenous ppl's cultures alone, we're so tired of it
