Here's an idea: Lock her in her room every time you catch her stealing a cookie. Let boredom devour her soul so that when you set her free she's learned her lesson, with no permanent harm done. Safe and efficient! :D
I love this short film, it's really silly but the start of this feels like a Dhar Man video "Mother punishes child with cookie jar, instantly regrets it"
So many moments of bad parenting lol. The movies/shows she was watching, the ability to leave the house in the middle of the night to destroy a cookie jar without mom realizing/hearing her daughter leave and just leaving cookies you don’t want your child to eat…right in front of them lol
I actually grew up watching stuff like that. I'd watch a mix of cartoons and things that would probably make heads spin. And as an adult, most of my issues stem from other aspects of my parents' parenting. Otherwise, yeah, this mom is clueless. She clearly bought a haunted object as part of a lesson that could've been handled better. But maybe she's a heavy sleeper, and that's why she didn't hear Bree leave? That's the only thing I can think of regarding that.
@@GenkiTheGod maybe it’s just me, but I was a scared kid, scared of the dark and whatnot, and I was never allowed to watch that kinda stuff. Honestly probably would’ve never slept again had I watched that stuff so young. Hell, I’m still afraid of the dark lol (not even sure what caused the fear but I know it got nailed in after I watched the movie Darkness falls when I was like 13 lol). The cookie jar alone would’ve made me stay away from cookies but I guess all kids tolerate things differently. I was (and still am) a scaredy cat lol
@@polkadottat333 Aww, well, here's where the irony kicks in for me: I was the same type of kid. But I can't explain why I tolerated those movies and shows but would be so jumpy like I was. I loved, like, Beetlejuice and stuff, but I just rewatched it this past Halloween and was amazed I handled it so well back then as far as the distorted faces are concerned, although due to the old special effects, I find it hilarious now. I actually feel like I got worse with age. I remember a time I watched scary videos late at night, I was so scared afterwards that I stayed completely under the covers; I was just into adulthood at that time. But thankfully I found a way to just not be afraid. As far as monsters go, I still find wendigos and skin-walkers to be terrifying. And maybe you're not afraid of the dark, per se, just the mystery of what lies within it. Even a flashlight won't light up the whole premises around you, depending on what type you have. I haven't been out after dark in ages because where I live, coyotes tend to be bad. But yeah, I'd say Bree is just fearless. Like I said in my own comment, though, the mom will have to call Sam and Dean soon 🤣
some people are just Born to act and some people best behind the camera like me put a camera in my face and I freeze up and I start acting weird and figit with my hair and hears the kicker I've always wanted to be an actress since I was a toddler got my first professional camcorder when I was young and could not bare to watch myself or hear my voice
Yk when I read this comment literally speaking I got it you are indian like me , lmao I also think the same like the lil girl in Anabelle movie use to sleep alone though they have a sinister in there home
I wouldn’t be able to sleep alone, I would be too on edge and way too scared to fall asleep easily. I’m often less scared or not as on edge when I’m beside my mother or my grandfather, it feels safer knowing someone else is with me.
@@pockysmoky3246 it's kinda obvious that she's saying that the clown will kill her. Why tf would any clown just cut her head. Wtf that's so dumb. That clown would just kill her like any other murderer
Covering Artist lmao me but now i have an obsession with all things horror and gory and my love for halloween has become an unhealthy obsession at a rapid rate
@danieljones98 i think she would just get back into bed and be frustrated because she fell off her bed and woke up, but if this were the case and she did not wake up then yeah, i guess she would sleep on the floor.
Should’ve just turned the jar around. That way the clown can’t see who’s taking a cookie LMAO EDIT: Holy, thanks for the likes lol. Never had so many likes on a comment before
I've found that for me, it's always been *more* scary to have the door open than closed. When it's closed, you're scared of what might be hiding in your room. When it's open, you're scared of what might be hiding in the hallway and your room. Also, if you have the light off, it can sometimes be less scary, since it is harder to notice shadows when the whole room is somewhat dark, and you fall asleep quicker with the light off. It probably doesn't apply for someone that is already scared, though.
@Yadira Ruiz it's a cookie.. Adults overeat all the time. Parents sgould put more energy into things that matter. Over controlling children is what causes them to rebel, forcing nonsensical rules onto them is what pushes them to find ways around rules. You can't plase an entire cookie jar in front of a child and demand they only take one 😒
(Spoiler) It's honestly kinda fitting given that she loves all those old fashioned horror/thriller movies that she'd make friends with the demon at the end of the movie.
You forgot the other rules: Victim must look deep into the dark hall Victim see's questionable figure twice the size of their loved one and walks to it Whatever sheet is on strange looking figure, they just HAVE to snatch it off 😂
This was way cuter than I think it was supposed to be. A brave little girl destroying her fear, cool, but a little girl taking a demon and turning it into a friend? Epic. Lol
I am not sure it was her friend. I think it was doing a 'Captain Howdy-Regan McNeil' type thing to her. It clearly possesses her by the end. Eerie stuff!
Nope, there are many people like that. If it were me i would just "whatever i don't care" and made my instant noodle. I was the kind of kids that isn't scared of anything, like her.
Bruh if that happened to me, I’d be out the house faster than a fat kid finishing a burger and then I’d head towards to my church and ask for some holy water and protection.
Loved the scares in this one, this was a great representation of how harmless pranks or make believe stories on the parents' end can leave a mark on young minds.
Mom: “are you going to be okay?” Kid: “mmmhmm. 0-0” Mom: “you know where I am if you need me...but first let me shut the lights so it pitched dark and close the door, good night✌🏼”
kid: not scared of the jar kid: not scared of walking alone outside in the dark kid: befriends the clown me: the frik is this edit: thanks so much for so many likes! honestly did not expect to get this many
@@SuperMir00please please I’d love to hear your explanation on why that is strange to say about a child? I feel as if you think the word dominate is something completely different than the actual term.
@@faizalf119 that's y we will lather old people in lotion while they fuck in front of the entire highschool's just to stop teen pregnancy Damn that's nasty
