Bella is looking better and better, but I'm glad she didn't meet the loose horse as it wld have been a shock. She seems very secure when you're riding her Tara, knowing you're so close. She's such a cutie, bless! ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉

Bella has had her coat clipped to keep her cool. She is an even colour all over naturally! She looks nice though.

You have done as much as you can to prepare Bella for this moment, I don’t think she will let you down even though she is very excited. She looks stunning. First rule of owning a horse, always ensure tied securely or in a safe place. Hope that horse didn’t get too far and was OK.

oh no i hope the horse was found quickly! hope that bella was a good girl for the remainder of the ride. im praying she did reallllllly good😆cant wait for the next one, so proud of her even with her little anxiety over the new surroundings, she is doing great so far!

Bella looking excited but proud to be out amongst others with her Mum.👏🏻🥰 Loved hearing her knicker and Dad mimicking her with his “yes.” 🤗 At least Mr. Free Rein was just on a wander and not a bolt like Faroukles. (Oh, let’s not remember THAT scary day!) 😲😬❤️

Yes...but then Faroukles never does anything at 1/2 speed...except walk home head down on a loose rein. That was a milestone ride. Seems like a lot of the same folks on this ride so I hope for success.

Bella is doing very well a bit anxious and on her toes but once you get on the ride hopefully will settle and use some of her energy. A bit weird letting that horse wander off. Hope the owner gets it back ready for riding. Great video Rens 🐴🐴🐴👀👀

Hope the loose horse was caught quickly! Honestly, this vid has been one of the most exciting frocked with anticipation! I mean from edge of seat, bucket of popcorn ready🍿😃. Thinking of Bella in one of the first videos with her momma, to arriving at the homestead, through training, to NOW! Ahhh😱😊! Can’t wait for the rest of the show😬💛!

Tara I have loved following your journey with Bella. You are bringing her along in a very correct way. She is progressing so nicely and you read her moods and anxiety perfectly. ❤I don’t have your experience but have been on this journey too. Introducing a horse to competitive distance riding requires good horsemanship. I had good mentors and that allowed me to experience it with my mare. I am looking forward to more of your adventures with Bella.

Bella seams to be setting down and getting used to the different routine. Back 50 years ago as a young girl I groomed race horses. Weeks before a horse’s first race we would take the young one to the races and let them see and hear the commotion. We’d take ththen take them back home. After a time or two they were much calmer about the experience . At least as calm as expected from an excitable horse ☺️

Looking great Tara and Bella ! Shes so white, im not used to it yet...it looks like paint 😅 Her main is come in nicely and shes such a beaut 👍 Even her voice has deepened. I saw a short this morning of a horse that wandered into a mans garage and went straight up to the heater.One of the colder states. Over 2000 comments ( of course 😅) someone said they 🐴 like to wander off but usually come back. Good to know.

Hi Tara and Rens, You can tell Bella is excited by the way she is holding her neck and walking. Her legs look a bit stiff but I think that is because she is excited and ready to go. She is probably thinking : " What is the hold up on our hack today? Come on Mum let's get going!" Good luck on the ride and have a good time. Do people think she is a pinto due to her coat clipping?

no one said that, we clip in Yorkshire a lot in winter so I think most rides know she is clipped.

She is an Andalusian and her "markings" are the result of a partial clip.
