ItalianSpartacus Oh, most definitely worth the wait! Your videos always have been worth it, so far- and totally enjoyable. I haven’t played 30K, but I’ve heard that it’s like a more serious, or grown-up, version of 40K. (I have never played 40K either, honestly!). I’m more on the hobby side of it all, and totally dig the lore, of course. I most likely will try out both games once my two main armies are finished, and see if I enjoy them. I’ve watched some battle reports to get a feel for what gameplay looks like, and it seems to be something I’d enjoy. I’ve never been the most socially comfortable person, and I’m sure that’s played a part in my not trying it before now. But once the Raven Guard are completed, I think I will have run out of excuses! Shit, that was long-winded- Thanks again for the great video, and I’m looking forward to Angron- talk to you later. PS- I’ve seen some videos about getting started in 30K, and the Night Lords look like they really kick ass (or flay the skin off of it, more likely)- if you get a chance, check out the “Getting Started in 30K” playlist on “The Outer Circle” RU-vid channel- they’re great. I recommend the whole channel, actually- but those vids specifically.

i'd argue that ultramarines are overly practical compared to the salamanders, but i definitely see where you're coming from here man and i'm behind it. I was talking to Turin- WAIT DID YOU SAY BORING VAMPIRES!? STOP RIGHT THERE!!! ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! SO the Blood Angels are the only loyalist legion that truly has to toil with an imperfect gene seed (to the extent that it manifests, we'll ignore the Canis Helix which is a matter of if it happened or not. not the WHEN that the Blood Angels gene seed is) while at the same time bathing themselves in the constant righteous fury as to absolve their seemingly heretical ways. Sanguinius WAS the beating heart of the Imperium outside of the Emperor himself. He was the only Primarch that awed even the other Primarchs. He was pragmatic, if not enigmatic, but always the brighter side of any argument. The Ultimate Mediator amongst his brothers, even when they besmirched hiis approach. Sanguinius is the leader of Imperium Secundus, ordained and confirmed by Bobby G himself! Blood Angels don't even hiss enough to be proper vampires, but they are the true melee beasts of the Adeptus Astartes (Space Wolves lose their fire after the charge). The Red Thirst?! Black Rage!? These aren't just simply, "oh i want blood." It's a deep thirst to spill blood in any way shape or form, completely overtaken by khorne I MEAN BLOODLUST! In addition, the Black Rage being the psychic echo and reliving of their beloved father's death? That's HAUNTING! Sure the Ultramarines lose Calth and a lot of the Ultima Segmentum during the Heresy, but at least they get their dad back!!! Also.. yes Turin and I were just talking about this and I was telling him how boring Bobby G is as a primarch because even though he's a great statesmen, the Horus Heresy makes him out to be weak and incapable. I mean 4 Alpha Legionnaires almost kill him

I think you're reading my comment in this post wrong there bud, I never said out loud that i hate or view the Blood angels as shite, simply stating that many have that same old excuse for just saying they are out of spite for their own favorit legion/chapter/faction… Its a poor viewpoint. I get what you mean in regards to all the negative / favored faction/ race, but its really a massive excuse to say either is weak. Like Guilliman battle the greatest of Khornes chosen bloodthirsters. Skarbrand. Guilliman he battled two daemon primarchs (not both all at once, but a one on one).. But the fact is the Horus Heresy books portrait Guilliman as a general and a all proven fighter, not a warrior but a fighter. He is not weak just because he gets overrun by a squad of Alpha dogs nor did it happen, he is a strong leader because he leads by example while also being a tactical genius /political genius he is still a strong fighter. Guilliman stated in Know no Fear that he was at least top five in fighting skill of the of the primarchs. What you're saying is not true in regards to Guilliman being weak in the Horus Heresy, far off it showcases his skills as a general and a frontal fighter if it so wills it. However he never fought alone, he fought with allies and his own legion, even stating that he could win any battle outright if he just had but 1 legion from the dauntless few. Sanguinius was the noble hero and beloved by the people sure, but that was not the reason why Guilliman picked him to lead the imperium from the founding of The Imperium Secundus, he was one of his most favored amongst his brother primarchs, yet even Sanguinius wouldn't take the title unless he absolutely had too. Guilliman knew nothing from the warfronts of the Horus Heresy the warp had cut off Macragge, therefor he was simply making sure the imperium would survive. Even Malcador the Sigillite feared that Guilliman and his ultramarines was doing the whole Secundus backup as a sign of betrayal, because of the rich and powerful Empire known as the worlds Ultramar. Also if you knew the Horus Heresy Ultramarines and the 40k chapters of the Ultramarines, you wouldn't disagree with me in regards to the Ultramarines outshining Salamanders in regards to public view/treatment of the common imperial citizen. Blood Angels arn't either the most imperfect in regards to their gen-seed, that goes to the Salamanders and Space Wolves. The Blood Angels only have their so called "curse/rage" out of the factor that Khorne has gifted the Legion, while also having the to share the same faith of becoming one with the past actions (death) of Sanguinius, its like the backlash of a primarch curses his sons/legion. Look no further than the Imperial fist and their successor chapters, they all share the doubt and sorrow of leaving the Emperor side.

Salamaders/space wolves are not nearly as fucked as the blood angels....BA had to create Death companies composed of once noble Veterans that have degenerated into a feral and nearly uncontrollable fate; they are constatly reviving the moment of their primarch murder...you can't really compare with having longer teeth Also you can compare Ultramarines and Salamanders in a civilian.protection contest: the salamanders have been know to hinder their strategies/tactics just to protect civilians, UM just plan around them Ps girlyman in the top5 for meele prowess...what: Fulgrim; Horus; Angrond; Leamon Russ (damn he managed to punch da Emperah twice!); Sanguinius; The Lion; Corax and i think also Kurze; Vulkan and the Khan could wipe the flor with BobbyG (i'm not really sure about Ferrus Manus; Perturabo; Dorn; Mortarion; Magnus).He's imo the 2nd weakest primarch on par with Lorgar, the weakest being Alpharius (poor soul he's just slightly bigger than a legionaire...but at least he's got an excuse due to being basically splitted in two ecc...) and if you were wondering where do i stand i can only say "i'm Alpharius" (Alpha legion best legion!) EDIT: i forgot to divide this into paragraphs

Sorry to say it but you are false spot on here. Blood Angels Gene-seed is not even close to the same mutation as wolves, and the salamanders are even higher on that list.. Out of the three legions i've listed here, the Blood angels come out on third…. They are slightly higher than freaking Raven Guard. Death companies have nothing to do with their mutations my dear friend.. Its a freaking blacklash of their dead primarch … You just said what i've already mentioned… Even the Imperial fist suffers from that sorrow of leaving the Emperor side, knowing that you were with him yet in the hour of need you weren't there to protect him… The Emperor's death scarred his sons, the deaths of primarchs leaves even further disaster on their sons because their physic arn't as strong. If you had read slightly better you would not had stated everything in which i have already mentioned. The only thing you nailed was the salamanders view on civilian casualties in general as a drawback is in fact true, they change their overall approach for the ideal of saving people sure, but this is all because of the common ideal of their legions history (home planet traditions). The Ultramarines don't do that at all no.

ItalianSpartacus I highly recommend it. It takes place after the burning of Prospero. Russ is struggling internally as he realizes he was a pawn to Horus and that Terra is under threat of invasion. He realizes that he can no longer blindly follow the Emperor, but must take fate into his own hands to down what is best for the Imperium.

ItalianSpartacus and Russ comments on Lorgar’s fighting prowess. “Lorgar...I could spit on him and he would fall over-from all that kneeling he does.” 😂 Would have fit perfectly in your video!
