I like this version/tank, and I'm getting my starter box hopefully this week. I think I may paint the interior before gluing the sides on, but not sure. Great video series, watching it to get an idea of what I will be going though in the next week or so.
rolo were always dark brown wrappers horrible chocolate tho... nestle bleurgh. I'm looking forward to my spartan when I get the age of darkness box next month :) looks a damn sight easier than the suspiciously curved FW kit I built when they released :)
@@SnakeWorksStudio nah buying it myself. I've been out of the hobby a few years and swore I'd only come back when beakies came back in plastic... So here we go back into the breech. Not doing heresy era though. Plan on having a non primaris 40k force. Old school mentor legion with the owl heraldry rather than the modern Red birb head. RTB-01 were my first marines so these mk VI are what I've been waiting for since the plastic multi kit came along in the late 90s
I wish you had done it all for me and built me one earlier, scene as this is the next model that I have to work on, and I am not looking forward to it. I would feel better after getting this model out of the way with IF I hadn't got a Leviathan Dreadnought to do afterwards.
@@SnakeWorksStudio The easiest legion in all of Warhammer, with the most idiot proof paint job you could ever think of: Iron Hands. Spray paint black, done. That's basically ALL iron hands are, with a bit of bolt gun metal on their hands and weapon muzzles. Why? Because I actually do like their paint scheme, it's idiot proof and I can do it with one spray can. Even Stevie Wonder could paint Iron Hands, if you just point him in the right direction, and tell him when to spray. Why make a job harder for yourself by selecting a complicated paint job? It's not like I aim to enter them into Golden Daemon.

@@SnakeWorksStudio I'm sure those were good! I recently bought 2 starter boxes (yes, very ambitious), to start Horus Hereresy, and that's why I started looking for material on RU-vid. Really glad to found your channel. I see you come from the old school! I started warhammer 6 years ago, so I'm just polishing my tastes. So far, I've wanted to get into 40K, but I really love Heresy's eighties aesthetic. So, two boxes! yessss! Lol. In your case, how did you get to Heresy?
