Green-Mopeds.com is a London based electric-only moped and motorcycle dealer and importer. We started in 2017 by signing a dealership with Torrot (torrot.com/) after initially seeing an electric moped for rent on holiday in Portugal.
Since then we looked for more brands and became the UK Importer for ECCity Motorcycles from France (www.eccity-motocycles.com/) and then Super Soco (supersoco.co.uk/) from China.
In early 2018 we were then approached by Askoll (www.askollelectric.com/) to be their first London dealer and soon followed by Lifan who were lauching their first moped the E3 (www.lifanmotos.net/product/ddc....
Later in 2019 we also signed up with SurRon with their hugely popular and lightweight LBX Lightbee (www.sur-ron.com)
Mid 2019, we signed up to be the first dealer for Niu (www.niu.com) and sold the first 9 of their new NGT model when it was launched at the end of 2019.
In early 2020 the UK Importer for Torrot moved on to other things and we became their importer to support existing customers of the Muvi range.
Later in 2020 after a request from a customer, we signed up with Artisan (artisanscooters.com/) to sell not only their brand but also Horwin (www.horwinglobal.com/) and Kollter (www.kollter.com/).
Recently we have added ThElMoCo (thelmoco.com) who supply LVENG bikes (www.lvnengebike.com) and now SunRa (www.sunraev.com) and hence offering the broadest range of any electric motorcycle dealer in the UK.
We have been approached by many manufacturers to become their importers which we will consider when the time is right.

How does the Horwin CR6 copes with rain? Also were can i find a storage box for the add on rack? Its weird they dont sell them and the white colour dosent have the white ribcage like on the other colour range. I much prefer all white

The recommendation with all bike to prevent ingress is to put it under a cover. We can sell the rack and a top if required. www.green-mopeds.com/accessories-25-c.asp

Hi there, I guess they are both ok for relatively flat terrain commuting at city speeds. Other reviewers say they dont have the power to climb bigger city hills well. Maybe they will tweek their power for more usability in the future and of course electric motorcycles are still quite a new thing. Thanks for the presentation.

I guess it depends on what you mean. It has over 8hp in a much lighter package than a petrol bike and so of course they can climb hills but might lose a mph or two depending on the hill.

I brought a 1500 watt e motorcycle off Trade Me which could do 50kph on the flat but it stalled on decent hills so I like to think other buyers are aware how hills might effect the performance of an e motorcycle. Not your responsibility to do that of course. Great comparison of the 2 bikes. Cheers

@@peterwilliamson4296 well with 1500w (2 hp) I would agree with your concern. In the same way I wouldn't really suggest 1500w is suitable for 2 people even though they are advertised as being capable of carryng them

I bought used electric scooter without batteries and put sabvoton 72150 on it and it climbs hill very well and I soon get 3,6 kwh lifepo4 battery ready so I could actually push around 20kw of peak power. Only thing is that I can only drive about 28 mph legally but powerwice I could easily go 80 mph with powerful controller :D

I’m wondering between these two or others for my wife, she’d like to be able to hit 60mph and get around 60+ miles but these both seems to be just about there, is there anything faster/better range for under £5k? What would you recommend and I may come and buy it from you 😅

in the motorbike style, there is only really this or the TC Max. Both do about the same speed but the CR6 should have slightly more range. However its fixed battery compared to removable with the TC Max which often makes people chose one or the other. Both great bikes though and youre welcome to buy to buy them from us.

Thanks, I was on the fence between these two, but the fact the Horwin has a fixed battery makes it a deal breaker. Shame because I would prefer to buy the Horwin on every other aspect.

Yes, this is often the case. Bigger motors demand bigger batteries which have to take all the available space

Would the Horwin Cr6 be heavier than the Tc Max? And are they equal or different in rider/passanger carrying capacity?

Yes the CR6 is about 20KGS heavier. The max loading on a CR6 is 170KG, The TC Max loading will be about the same

@@GreenMopeds would be curious to find out what motivated moving the fuse/battery kill switch from the TC-Max's battery tank to underneath the seat. Especially if this applies to the standard 2020 TC model too.

Has anybody got genuine up to date top speed figure for the TC Max ? MCN say their “data logger” said 49mph but that review is a couple of years ago, another rider on RU-vid got over 100 kmh GPS checked speed (62mph) by lying flat on the “tank” but said he gets 90kmh (56mph) in a normal seated position. For my usage the lower top speed, according to MCN and this review, is the only thing that is not as good about the Super Soco compared to the Horwin. The TC Max low weight, seat height, removable battery, belt drive and lower price are all pluses for me, though the Horwin seat might be OK, just need to check that, and it sounds like the suspension on the Horwin may be a bit smoother.

the age of a technology is not inherintly indicative of its quality, chains are a fundamental part of mechanics so there are very few things better

@@fawkyou2001 *exposed* final drive chains on commuter motorcycles are a messy, maintenance hungry inconvenience compared to a chain in full enclosure like on a Honda C90 or the old MZ two strokes.

i would hands down buy the horwin right now if the battery was removable so i could charge it at work , my round trip for work is 52 miles and unable to charge at work unless battery was removable..shame on u horwin.

£1000 well spent in my opinion..Horwin is bigger, better & more aggressive looking bike, more power & higher quality batteries have more cycles & last longer
