It's time for Part 2 of the Koi Wholesale Hoshikin Showa Grow Out!
In this follow-up video Ricky takes a look at how these tosai Showa Koi from Hoshikin Koi Farm have developed in size and colour since our first video in this series, published on 25 October 2021. Since that time you'll see how the Koi have already developed dramatically, and Ricky explains how various elements, including the pond conditions, and the mix of Saki Hikari food have played their part in this.
Hoshikin is renowned as one of the best Kohaku breeders and has one of the longest serving Kohaku bloodlines in Japan. To him, Showa (and more specifically, Kindai Showa) are a variety of Koi that he loves and keeps as a hobby for his own enjoyment, so to follow these fish from this breeder as they develop and grow really is a special treat!
