hey Tiffany always see you and your mum /family cooking and asking each other how much you would pay ..you and your mum should seriously make a recipe book with all you make as some look yummy and simple but I wouldn't know where to start , just thinking it would help take your mind off things . and help towards you ever needed to see any doctor and you could even donate a percent to cancer research. :)

@fluffy fox don’t get me wrong. I love Tiffany and support her fully. And it’s not her child. But a child without seatbelt in 2022? Maybe it’s just not visible how the child is secured. But if not: they can and should do better. This is not a hate comment. But ignoring an unsecured child is neglectful and would be toxic positivity. I am pretty sure that Tiffany can handle constructive criticism. If she feels uncomfortable with my comment, I am very sure that she can defend herself.

That’s a £500 fine and several points against the driver’s license - in addition to putting Astin at risk of serious injury. Someone plz talk to Astin’s parents. In the stress of Tiff’s cancer this seems to have been overlooked.

I work in a hospital and the phlebotomist sometimes takes a glove filled with warm water holding it on the area for a minute

My nurses have used warm towels for this, the water bottles a great idea.❤

@fluffy fox I am totally 100% supportive of Tiffany's journey. My criticism is directed at something completely unrelated that could result in the death of a child - it's a fair comment. Not restraining a child properly is illegal.

@fluffy fox If a child’s sensory issues result in a meltdown every time the child is out into a child seat, then the child should not ride in cars until they reach the weight or age at which it is no longer required, For unavoidable trips like to the doctor they need to stay in a car seat regardless. Unrestrained kids in cars die.

@fluffy fox my son has sensory issues.. however safety comes first every single time. I wouldn’t put my son at risk by not letting him a) not have a car seat and b) not strap him in.. this is a very silly comment to make

From your comments I also get the vibe that you might be quite young and maybe you don’t understand why people are upset about a little boy without a seatbelt on. 😿 This is why I want to explain it to you: I am a med student in my last year and I can tell you how heartbreaking it is to see a child hurt in car accidents ❤️‍🩹🙀Especially if they weren’t secured properly and massive injuries would have been prevented if the child’s parents put them in a child seat. Even when you are driving pretty slowly the forces during an accident are so high, that someone without a seatbelt on, would be hurled through the car, maybe even through the window shield 😵‍💫. Even if an adult would have a child on their lap during a car ride at slow speed during an accident, it is not humanly possible to hold that child 🥹The child would still immediately fly through that car and hurt themselves really bad, maybe even die 🤕 How is his mother in front of him going to do anything about that? It’s just physics. The sad fact is, that even the fastest reacting and strongest person on the planet couldn’t help in that situation. This is the reason why it’s actually illegal to put your child and a car without a proper child seat and properly secure it ⛔️ Adults definitely know about this and it’s part of the basic curriculum in driving school. So anyone who has a drivers license should know that. If an accident would happen while a child is not properly secured, authorities will actually call child protective services 👮🏼‍♀️ Even pets have to be secured in the car and I personally have special transportation boxes for my two cats that are secured with the seatbelt to keep them safe. 🐈‍⬛🐈 Pointing out things that might be wrong, is not hate. It’s constructive criticism. None of the people above, myself included, were mean about it. Nobody thinks that they are horrible people and as you can see from all the other comments: Tiffany built an amazing family and everyone is super supportive😍 We just pointed out a thing that is wrong and should be improved. And I think that we definitely agree that we don’t want anything bad happening to Tiffany’s family or herself. 💙Sometimes being a critic, is a more supportive thing than just ignore it and acting nice about it. As long as people choose the right words and are respectful. We all have things to learn and areas that we can improve in 🥰 The world is not black and white. Very good people make mistakes as well. That’s why we are pointing it out so Tiffany and her family can learn from it. 👍

I know, I felt the same. Usually an alarm would sound if someone didn't have a seat belt on. I also thought he would be in a car seat at that age.

In Australia everyone has to wear a seatbelt in the car. Is the uk different. Loved the stars for the tree.

@fluffy fox Children from aged 3 upwards are required by law to be properly restrained in cars. So that's definitely Astin.

@fluffy fox The only exemption (other than being in a taxi) is for an 'unexpected necessity' which this didn't look like, ie, an emergency situation. That info is from the government's website. Surely any responsible adult would put a belt on their child anyway. One unexpected stop and that child could go through the front windscreen.

It is totally a legal requirement for children in the UK to wear seatbelts and booster seats until 135cm tall. I was so shocked Astin wasn't wearing one. So dangerous
