This is so refreshing! Refreshing to hear positivity about the menopause. I avoid all media on it. You’re so amazing, thank you for your books and all your research 🙏 xx
I've not experienced many symptoms at all bar an intensification of my already existing PTSD and feelings of not uncomfortable heat that stay in the sacrum area. I've had HRT plugged to me constantly though! Incredibly, I've found a significant amelioration of symptoms by drinking a humble elixir of Celtic sea salt each morning. It scares me to think how many people are stranded on HRT, ritalin or who knows what else, due to a mineral salt deficiency. It makes you wonder if the demonisation of salt is doing the pulblic harm.
What an interesting thought. I was just recalling that, for several years of peri-menopause, I craved minerals like mad and couldn't keep them balanced well, despite a decent effort - and now that it's been almost a full year since I've bled, that issue seems to have left me as well. The main thing that struck me for a bit was grief at the passing of that whole long season of life, I haven't heard that addressed much.
I never took hrt I always heard it caused cancer later so I dealt with it. Mainly hot flashes is what I dealt with and lower sex drive at that time. Glad it worked for you though
Ashitaba Tea is the best. I'm post menopause now & embraced the hot flashes as an experience & if one lays still they can pass without fear or trauma. I use natural salts and seaweed daily. I'm within my healthy BMI. No processed foods Fresh foods Mineral waters aswell as alkalising water simply with a slice of lemon & leaving overnight. Barbara O'Neill is excellent on all health recipes - natural 🙏🏻 Ty Kelly - amazing listening to you 🙏🏻
I watched the story of Christ's oil with great interest. Ashitaba is a plant native to Japan that means that even if you cut the leaves, they will grow back tomorrow.Ashiya is tomorrow in Japanese. Thank you.
Beautiful ...thank you for updating the female body functions...its difficult to find info on the beauty of the woman form ....I appreciate you so much ❤
I went through menopause with no symptoms, but I went through hell for the entire age 11 to 50 journey of monthly cycles with the worst cramps, and the heaviest periods and panic attacks.
Wow, this is amazing timing!! I have been recently going down a rabbit hole of learning all about hormonal balance and menopause. From what I can gather, women often suffer a lot more during menopause now than they would have in the past, because of the modern diet and all the toxins in our environment etc, so menopause is maybe not the same now as it was back in the day. Perhaps there is an ideal balance to be found, between the two extremes of unnecessary suffering that many women experience, and HRT that tries to mimic the hormonal balance of a 20 year old woman.
Barbara O’Neill mentions HRT and how it tricks our body into thinking we’re young again too. She says, the body says, ok, we’re 20, we need to put energy into the breasts and reproductive system…years later it can result in breast cancer. I wouldn’t read too much as I think it’s too negative. I would recommend going down a rabbit hole with Barbara though 😁 to help balance those hormones, not to replace them.
I’ll be looking up those books thank you. Maybe you could write a menopause book next, on these findings, I’d buy it for my girlfriend’s, god knows we need to share an alternative (to me truthful) view to what’s out there.
2 yrs menopausal. No hot flashes but muscle loss, loose skin & loss of estrogen=rarely have to shave but I'm losing my eyebrows *haha So I'd say, women keep up you fitness, don't stop b/c it goes fast.
Dr. Mindy Pelz's channel is full info and gives (dietary) advice for (menopausal) women and their hormones. It is advised that as we age, and especially women, we should increase our protein intake and built muscles by doing weight lifting exercises, body building, body weight exercises (animal flow, primal flow), as sarcopenia sets in. Also, Barbara O'Neil has a video about hormones that is very interesting and helpful.
Currently reading the god design. “Nutrition, I am a full time vegan, although I do allow myself the odd day off for”… I just want to thank you for the laugh and the amazing knowledge you’re sharing with all of us. I am forever grateful. To always, and in all ways. 🙏🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏿🙏🏻🙏🏾 ❤

At this point, with the lack of players in NA region, the devs have to try something new. I'm all for it personally. At least wait and see how it turns out. I'd rather more new players, then bloody bots!
I had a hysterectomy at 35… 🥺but still had one ovary. The other one was crushed, due to surgery in early childhood. I’m now 70, and went through the ‘hot flashes’ several years ago. Wish I had known this years and years ago!!🫢
