Technically, not a pun. In fact, puns are based on words sounding similar to each other so this is the opposite of that.

This seems to have similar drafting with similar chaos as For Sale or Miaui. The scoring sounds fun and I'm sure there will be some groans or cheers when revealing the cards .

This game is the same as the Ravensburger game called PUSH. The only difference is PUSH uses a dice with the cards and is more fun.

This game sounds very similar to Relationship Tightrope but maybe not quite as good? Relationship Tightrope has a lot of chaos and guessing as well.

Yet perhaps being a mathematician who can spot similar patterns in different things means that most people who aren't able to, would see the themes as "replaceable" His theme-mechanic ties are often better than most popular "thematic" games with strong presentation & flavor yet don't really make sense with the mechanics

The whole review I was a bit distracted by Mike looking in the camera every 5-10 seconds when he was talking. It's like he is checking if I'am really paying attention to him. I know it's not polite taking and not looking to someone but this turning to the camera bugs me somehow. Maybe it's better if everybody sits on the same side of the table looking in the camera together. It might be a little bit cramped for the screen but then its more like the 2 person reviews.

If that's really how the title is supposed to be pronounced, someone is thinking too hard. That's a terrible name. NO ONE is going to see that and pronounce it "leed" and not "ledd". "Hot Lead" is something people actually say. "Hot Lead" is not.

However thematically, the cards you're collecting are "hot leads" about those types of crimes that you're investigating, haha.

Both are common. "Hot Lead" (led) refers to bullets and is common in noir from the last century. "I gave the villain a dose of hot lead!" It was also used in publishing, referring to the Pb used in old printing presses. "Hot Lead" (lede) is often used in both sales and investigation, referring to a potential client or to information that seems likely to lead to success. "I have a hot lead for you. Some guy just came in the front door and said he was an eyewitness. Check it out." So either is entirely reasonable in this context. (My initial reaction was that the 'led' pronunciation was obvious, as well, FWIW.)
