U.S. Marines with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron VMFA(AW)-224 Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct hot refueling at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, April 13, 2024. Marines with VMFA(AW)-224, based out of MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, are currently attached to MAG-12 as part of a rotational unit deployment program to gain experience operating in the Indo-Pacific.
