As a wheelwright I will set 48 Hub Bands on 12 Spanish Cannon Hubs. Rolling, Sizing and Hot setting. Precision is a must because the circumferences are small. I make my bands 2/10ths of 1 percent smaller in circumference than the wood, and at these sizes that is more a perception than a measurement.
