I’ve always had good luck with Toys Wonderland. Still order some through Sideshow when I’m not in a rush. Found a local comic store where the owner will take 20% off Sideshow price and not change me shipping. Great video as always! 👏🏻
Honestly I use Mercari but the downside is I’m overseas. I started seeing hot toys here in Japan and then down the rabbit hole I go. I can’t ship to a military base so Im currently shipping all my figures home. Waiting to see a mountain of boxes at my house :) When I was looking for tips I landed on your channel and hands down you are the best! Keep doing what you’re doing.
I really enjoy your videos. Call you people's figure guide since you do amazing job on explaining also nice you genuinely wanna help the noobs like me 😂
Great information! Even for some experienced collectors. I use Sideshow (primary), and Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS). Never had any issues and they both have good customer service. Could you please make a video on buying options for Queen Studios and Inart? They are showing promise for the sixth scale community
Great video Keco👍👍 I especially like your last point about collecting within your means and not run into a pee pee contest with others. I am of the older category you mentioned 😀
All my hot toys Figures I have bought from mercari at very reasonable prices and a good majority have came with no issues at all, had like maybe 1 or 2 issues where something very minor wasn't described in the listing but other than that yea, I recommend mercari as well for any new collectors, just make sure you check the actual reviews on the sellers page
Good tips. I always pre-ordered figures I definatley wanted as soon as I could, with a solid believe that aftersales prices sky rocket high. However, I recently discovered this may not always be the case, as I was surprised to see the repaint Boba Fett (non-throne special edition) for just under 200GBP on Toys Wonderland! I did pre-order it, then cancelled due to lack of space and my thoughts on this version of the character's action time. Then this was a bargin I couldn't pass on and yet it's still a good figure.
Your collection is awesome but how do you feel about spending that much money? 😅 I’m not a collector, but I ordered Sideshow Clone Wars Obi-Wan and Anakin,I absolutely love them but now my whole family is making me feel guilty for spending that much money on a toys. And I’m absolutely torn- I love those figures but at the same time I know that they are right and toys shouldn’t cost that kind of money because they are just toys after all 😢 despite all of that I’m enjoying your videos, thank you!
If it's YOUR money, no one should really tell you how to spend it. How do I feel personally? I don't mind because it's something I can continually enjoy as opposed to wasting the money on going out, drinks, etc. it's a hobby, for fun...
If buying from eBay, make sure to look at the sellers feedback. I personally wouldn't buy from anyone with less than 100% and make sure buyers protection is an option. Look at all photos and ask for more if you are still not comfortable. Also read the description carefully and ask loads of questions if you need. I've bought dozens from eBay and have had no issues if you are careful.
Hey Keco have you bought stuff at the Toy Department?? Watch Josh Pence videos, got some nice Hot Toys and other toy lines. Get my stuff at SS, thinking about doing some orders at my comic book store.
I love Sideshow and have always had a good repore with them. I only had one bad experience with a seller on Ebay some years ago. I had the winning bid on Ebay, on a Batman Begins collectable . Before Ebay had a buyer protection, the seller told me my bid was too low, and that he was selling me one that was similar to the winning bid. After waiting for 3 weeks and nothing going on, I asked for a refund, I didn't hear back from him again until just before Christmas. He said that he'd mail me a refund shortly after the holidays. He never did, and my patience was done at that point. I reported him to Ebay, and he had a fit. So my advice is to check out the seller, and it's fraudulent, report him. Ebay will usually ban him from selling. Nowadays, Ebay will side with the buyer, and you'll get a refund.
They’re mainly known for legit checking shoes and designer clothes but now they’ve added in collectibles which is pretty cool you should check them out because I legit can’t find one video of someone reviewing them.
