Awesome to see Xenomorph do a collaboration with you, I definitely agree with both, there are plenty of great things about it, but I feel like for such a high priced figure you can't really feel how much die cast is on it, the waist pieces are a great idea to do the landing pose but some articulation would've been great, definitely love the paint job, Hot Toys never disappoints on that...

Top video, I liked the duo aspect of it. Very well done you two. Please make more of that. As for the figure mine is due in soon and I think I will keep him because the mark 3 is an iconic iron man. Yes to the die cast mark 2. But it better be all die cast

I don't know how much is the price of those Die Cast figures in Usa,but here in Europe everything starts from 440-50€ + and for that kind of money I am personally quite disappointed. A guy from Hong Kong told me, that actually the original price there is something around 260 us$. For that price I think, that those figures are crazy good. For 450€,definitely 👎👎👎

great vid,man.Btw I just used a safety pin to remove those hard to remove wing plastic seals.I also got it to pose into a landing one,not an easy task but rewarding.Keep up the great vids.

I think the tech for this figure is obsolete thats why they include that stupid mid abdomen. If it has that stretch abdomen like how the new diecast does now, example mk 45. I would totally buy this figure.

I'm a sucker for diecast I have the mark 42 and iron Patriot love those two figures the body on iron Patriot is amazing so is Mark 42. I was a little disappointed on whiplash because I was under the impression it was going to be full diecast but I still got it and I love. I was about to get this figure but after your review I will wait for another full diecast that may be released thank you.

I was waiting for your review and your thoughts about the non articulated torso, Coz my expression about it is totally negative, I am thinking of selling mine.

I was waiting for this to come out for so long, and when I got it, I was pretty disappointed too... I don't understand why they didn't just make the shoulders like those of Mark 42. Also, my biggest gripe about this is the lack of side to side ankle articulation. Together with the very plastic red paint with gloss top, instead of metallic red, it was very underwhelming for such an iconic piece :( Hope they do better job with Mark VI and VII diecast figures. Awesome video review, btw.

I'm alittle disappointed by the rendering of this figure. I was hopefully this would be the beautiful, polished, heavy hunk of metal i thought Hot Toys could make and most importantly the one we deserve being it's the THIRD rendition... but alas.... it's not. It SUCKS there's no Ab-Crunch, and that was the original deal breaker for me when pictures of this first dropped so many months ago, but after i saw that glossy, high end paint job and slightly more accurate proportions, i was swayed......... But "20%" Diecast??? No No No Wait Wait Wait Hot Toys you got some splaining to do!!! Yeah I'll get it maybe after i rack up some reward points in a couple months or so.... i see this being a slow burner. As for the "Diecast" Mark ii?....... It's inevitable, but you FUCKERS over at Hot Toys better do the right things!! I'm talkin ab-crunch, MORE DIECAST new head sculpt AND environment base to make this fake "diecast" Mark iii thing right! Great review Guys.

It's a big improvement over the original

this one i think is better than the old mark 3 .. i mean yeah theres a minus articulation point on it .. but consider that theres a upgrade they did on the details the helmet the color and the ab part .. for me its better i like the mark 3 the classic armor .. i dont have complaints about it plus the mini arc reactor you cant beat that .. some improvements like the light up base .. the tony stark face helmet . the die-cast yeah yeah its an old habit shit .. all of the ironman figures today say die cast but not really . so i dont really know why you dont like this figure its a great improvement comapre to the old mark 3 . im not a articulation guy like you i dont really pose them when displaying it . so this is just my opinion .. still highly recommended it to some people .

I honestly don’t care about the diecast. I just wanted that waist articulation. It looks so weird on my shelf. He’s constantly at attention because he can’t stand normally and he looks very awkward. Also that extra layer of armor makes him look thick in the waist. It’s just a frustrating figure to pose.

Hey Danoby how are you doing? I'm new to this hobby and I discover your channel recently and man I've been eaten your videos for breakfast. Great stuff!! I have a little request that might be interesting to you and your viewers. In this video you recreate your favorite scene from the movie. I would like you to recreate my favorite scene for me and I think your audience and yourself are going to enjoy it as well. Is the scene when Iron Monger picks up a bike and hits Ironman with it. I do not own an Iron Monger and I never will ($$$) so it's impossible for me to do it but if I did this is how I would display them both. Anyway I wanna live this dream trough you hopefully it'll catch your attention. I don't know if you own a 1/6 scale sport bike but New Ray has a Honda Repsol (and regular version) that is pretty cool and is going for $30 (it says is diecast don't be fooled IS NOT) on Ebay. I know what i'm asking is absurd but it's been going around my head for days to ask you and I had to for my own sanity. Alright man whether you decide to do it or not you have a new sub that is here to stay. I'm really looking forward to your new content. Keep up the good work.
