I actually prefer this design over the angrier symbiote suit design. This one looks classic on the surface but upon closer inspection has a design that’s never been done before. That’s why this is my favorite symbiote suit design yet!

this is so comic accurate yet so unique and fresh. I don't think any design will ever top this one without being ripped straight out of the comics

Ohhhhh watching this figure review really takes me all the way back to when we first saw Peter's black suit in the gameplay trailer years ago. Insomniac really outdid themselves with this reinvention of the classic black suit

As a 1/12 collector, I'm a distant admirer of hot toy figures and this just looks fantastic! I'd absolutely love SHF or Mafex to give this suit a go.

Sadly in game we couldn't see spider arms with a symbiote lines and how advanced 2.0 transform into the black suit like on first gameplay trailer

Incredible figure, I can’t wait for the massive 20 inches of venom lol and the proper spider emblem in his chest when finally releases

I body swapped my black suit Spiderman 3 with a phicen m31, gives the body accurate porpertions and poses better, plus you can pull the coller down and get a skin neck when you put the Toby Maguire headsculpt on.

They need to make an anti-venom one

I still dont understand collectors issue with the spiderman suit and creases. Idk.....creases are REAL. I know, i know: movies are cgi.....our figures arent cgi lol. A real life spiderman would have creases and folds when he moves......why so serious?

This suit is really cool, but i prefer the later Symbiote suit where the panel lines fade away and the spider logo gets more monstrous not sure why im commenting on the figure tho, i find hot toys overpriced

16:33 so you tried Tobey and Tom's head on the figure not Andrew? Come on try Andrew Garfield's head so we can see what he would look like with the symbiote. Either try the No Way Home Andrew head or the TASM 1 Andrew head. Either way this figure looks awesome. Hot Toys are fabulous as always. Easily the best version of the symbiote suit. It's gorgeous and detailed. Symbiote Peter was great in the game too. Andrew Garfield: "I want to fight and alien".

How did you get the waist to bend? ( 38:00 ) I have the negative suit spidey, and I can't get the waist to stay bent. Is there a trick to it? I was looking for info about it online, but couldnt find anything.

hi justin! new to collecting and have yet to get a spidey figure. How do the material in these suits hold up over time? intending on leaving them in power poses if ever i do get one (mainly looking at this and the Final Swing suit from NWH)

Can you put out a video or something on how you set him up standing on the brick?

How's the texture of the suit when touching it? Is it sticky? The best thing is the creases best to this suit. Just concern how durable the suit is if it will peel. Because tom holland suits are really thin. But ps4/ps5 suits have thick materials. Really tempting to buy this as my only spidey in my avengers collection

Just a little warning If you get any hot toy from pop collectibles your gonna have to also spend some money on the delivery. It just won't show how much you will have to pay for the delivery, it will only show you how much the figure is. Hope that helped 👍

I was torn originally between which suit would have been better. This Black Suit or the Symbiote suit. But for me this one takes the cake, as it is a perfect middle ground between comic accurate and full alien. The big question for me is whether an eventual comic symbiote suit will be better than this one. Time will tell.

Is the leather material the same as the venom product?

@Justin, how does the pivot and swivel work? Because on mine, i tried to adjust his torso to the right but i cant even move his torso to the left or right.

I hate mechanical spider legs I always have always will hated them in the game wish I could turn them off and I would throw them away when I get the figure(with the exception of the iron spider suit)

Honestly I would rather they make the evolved version of this suit from when it really takes over, looks so much more dark and venom like.

This suits got that emo vibe, that like is kiiiinddddaaaa hot

Why not use the final swing tom holland headsculpt on this body because the new one has furrowed brow so it would look better than the previous tom Holland head sculpt

Still haven't played Spider-man 2 since I don't own a PS5. So I've been avoiding spoilers not in the trailers. But yeah this looks great. I did take a look at the Symbiote suit. I think both have their place depending on what look you want for the display. On a side note, it still baffles me to this day that Sam Evil Dead Raimi disliked the symbiote. It seems right up his alley. But I guess he wanted to just tell a different story is SM3.
