I haven’t traveled by myself in quite some time. I love these tips and locations. I do meet a lot of people when I travel. I love the idea of going to the Olympics in France. Horseback riding is always fun too. Australia is on my list too. Cute hair.
Aruba sounds like a beautiful place to visit. I have not considered visiting Cleveland, but you pointed out some great things to do while there. I don’t have any solo travel plans, but consider travel alone with my toddler to have the same safety risk if not more, as traveling alone.
Yeah I was hardly at the resort I was there. Maybe part of two days I was. I love exploring and seeing what the community has to offer. Thanks for watching!
Aruba would be amazing. I definitely want to go to Paris one day and a cruise I have to do that as well, just not sure which one, so many to choose from.
I hope you get to Paris one day! It is definitely a city to experience on your own. And there are so many different cruises with different journeys and activities aboard. So definitely do your research, in which I know you will! Thanks for watching!
I'm actually hoping to do a long weekend in Cleveland sometime this year to check out the city. Aruba and France are great even for non-solo travellers. And I could see a cruise being a great option for a solo traveller because they have lots of singles activities to meet other people who are also travelling solo. I have only travelled solo once and it takes some getting used to!
Omg! That is so exciting! I can’t wait to hear and see what you do in my hometown of Cleveland! And Aruba and France is definitely great for a variety of travelers not just solo! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic video! Really appreciate the diverse solo travel recommendations for 2024. Each destination you mentioned sounds unique and exciting. Thanks for the great insights and looking forward to more travel tips in your upcoming videos! 👍
Cleveland sounds like a delightful destination, especially with its pier area. Portland, Oregon, has long been on my bucket list, and I'm eager to savour the diverse offerings from its famed food carts. Aruba's unique desert vibe is intriguing, and I'm keen to experience it firsthand. France holds a special allure, particularly with iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe awaiting exploration. Despite being neighbours, I've only visited Sydney and Darwin in Australia so far, and I'm eager to discover the charm of its other major cities. Currently considering a cruise for the first time this year, and I'm excited about the prospect. Two thumbs up for your wonderful recommendations!
I’m glad you enjoyed the recommendations. Portland and their food carts was so unique and something I enjoyed there. And a cruise to Australia will be really nice. I believe my aunt did that in 2020 right before the world stopped. Thanks for watching!
Now only you can make Cleveland sound fun lol. Honestly, I never would have thought that that would be a good destination bug now I'm Interested lol. I wanna travel with the baby after he's vaccinated in the summer time.
Definitely don’t sleep on Cleveland. Actually, there are a lot of destinations in the US are slept on. And that will be so nice to travel with the baby! Excited for you!
Let's go UCLA girls!!! Drove through Cleveland but, never stopped before. I do Portland for the food but, I would also raise you Portland, Maine. Portland Maine has a great beer and food scene as well as the Lobster 🦞. I definitely want to visit Aruba. I wonder if it's always been a desert or if the expansions of resorts changed the island. Outside of Paris is where it's at. Lyon, Beaune, Colmar and Strasbourg. I do need to get to Western France at some point. Definitely need to get to Australia.
I love Portland Maine. Actually I feel it has some of the best food in the US! From what I gathered, Aruba has always been a desert. I remember one guide telling me that a lot of different countries tried to settled there. And when they got there, they realized the land wasn’t like other islands in the Caribbean. Thanks for watching!
Travelling solo is great. I have cycled through France on my way to Santiago de Compostela and never felt unsafe. I think the Camino Frances or any other Camino is a top destination to travel solo. At least if you like to hike! I'll be in Paris next wednesday, so good to know that you have been there as well! You found some good destinations to travel to!
Australia sounds amazing right about now. Thats crazy that you had to add disclaimer about the homeless population in that one city, but im sure the people suffering from it would deff prefer you stay home if youre going to come to their city and give them a hard time about existing lol. But youre right no matter where you go these days youre more than likely going to see something of the sort so just enjoy your time and be thankful that youre able to enjoy the atmosphere from a stable standpoint!! But deff appreciate you consistently keeping it real about your travel destinations!!!
How about any of the cities in North Carolina. All of them are going to have stuff for you to do and see. Charlotte is the big metropolis of the bunch. Raleigh has the best night life scene and because it’s the state capital it also has some free museums, Asheville‘s got the mountains and plenty of beer. Well, every place in the state has plenty of beer. And if you can’t make a friend for a night, you need to see a professional about that.
I have a round up of videos to kick off the new year each year. I limit it to a certain amount of locations based on experiences I had over the past year. Plus, I don't want the video to be too long as we could be here all day. I haven't been to Charlotte in a long time, therefore I will not recommend it until I possibly visit again. I have featured Asheville in a previous year's suggestions. Therefore, it didn't make it this year. Thanks for watching!
These are some amazing suggestions. And for France, I have a lot of friends sharing the same happy experience, so I am sure it's definitely worth a visit ❤
