Well, I was struggling last night before I booked my trip to the Jewel Grande Montego Bay so today I was just looking again for some additional info to confirm whether I'd done a good thing or not. My wife and I will be there to celebrate her birthday in May and I really wanted to do something special for her. Your Vlog on the resort pretty much sealed it for me. Thanks so much for such helpful information. It has definitely assisted me in my decision! Keep doing whatcha doing! This vid made me smile the whole while!

Great review. We were headed there tomorrow but honestly we the crime reports ( Jamaica in general) have me concerned after looking at some of the news outlets there. What’s your perspective?

Hi Vernon, I have to be honest with you and agree that the crime has increased and it's understandable that you are worried about your safety. You are visiting a resort which I believe is closed off from the public at large and as such, they have their safety procedures as it relates to who can enter and exit their property. Considering that, the main concern would be the transportation to and from the resort. I believe that the resort may assist in providing transportation at a cost and/or you may contact Knuysford express. It would really be a wonderful experience for you to visit Jamaica, especially our resorts but as it relates to your concerns, the decisions is ultimately up to you. 🙂 S

@@lymingwithlatoya Actually we're visiting the Jewel Grand and after your review were convinced it was a great place to stay. Our host has arranged a driver for us from the Air Port and we plan to stay pretty much at the resort area. Thanks so much for your reply!

Are all the restaurants included free in the “all inclusive” package or do you pay extra at each meal?

The are free. I think you may have to pay for certain wines though.

@@lymingwithlatoya thank you! We’ll be there next week. Our villa that we reserved at the Tryall club over 6 months ago was canceled this morning due to a flood at the property. Thank god this place had an opening!!

With all due respect, if it wasn't for the fact that this hotel was a high end Palmyra Hotel before, the current layout wouldn't look so upscale. Just look at other Jewel resort in the past before the Playa Group purchased. If would be average!!!!!!

I went to one in Montego Bay Heroes weekend the don't even welcome us the rooms we where having problem with the rooms know when we went for breakfast no one to even ask you if want a cup of tea and some juice it was a really really poor
