I don't think we have to worry about Johnny getting old and dying. He didn't change one bit over 5 or 6 years. Dude didn't even change his outfit.

The bigger deception of my life was the invisible man not being hot, I refuse to accept the 4th movie as canon, it simply cannot be

okay anatomically speaking, the invisible man should not look how he does in the fourth movie simply because we have seen the invisible man wear clothes that don't match the body type he has in the fourth movie.

The fact that the 'invisible man' in HT4 contradicts the Invisible man in the first or second movie where he wears a collar and tie that would NOT fit around that thick neck. I never found him hot but it doesn't quite fit.

Another thing that contradicts HT4 invisible man's design is HT1 when he's wearing a pair of swim trunks that CLEARLY display how skinny he is. I'm not even a simp. I'm just upset they ruined a good opportunity to make a likable character design. I always imagined him as a friendly looking skinny little nerd boy around Johnny's age. My disappointment is astronomical.

Ngl I definitely had some kind of crush on the Invisible Man. They absolutely did him dirty. I’ve seen people say he’s a Jewish stereotype, as well as comparing him to Mort Goldman from Family Guy. And given how Adam Sandler is Jewish… I wouldn’t put it past him to actually do that on purpose. Too bad though, they could have definitely gotten more money from views and free promotion if they had made Invisible Man sexy or at least an average dude for the fanfic/artist girlies that thirsted over him.

I think one of the biggest tragedies of HT 2 was a joke they cut out once it hit DVD. When I saw it in theaters during the scene where the elephant is eating Cakey's hand on the TV, Cakey says, "Slow down! The real monster is diabetes!" before going to the next scene. It was my favorite joke in the entire movie only for it to be removed once it hit DVD. I was so upset

ok but the scream cheese is what got me to try cream cheese as a kid. 😭 i have autism so i struggled a lot with new foods but something abt scream cheese made me so happy so i like actually tried it on a bagel and it’s been my comfort food ever since

Besides the Invisible Man not being a hunk, the most disappointing part of the last move was Johnny still being human, like as everyone had pointed out, he will die and then his wife and son will keep on living for like ever. NOBODY in the movie thought to just turn him into a vampire so his whole ass family doesn’t outlive him???

Why did everyone think the Invisible Man was gonna be hot when every design in this series is unfuckable

I don’t even care if invisible man is hot it’s just the fact that almost none of the clothes he’s ever worn in the past movies would fit him in that movie as a human like it doesn’t even matter if he’s hot but his body just wouldn’t look like that

The fourth movie was considered the worse by a lot of people considering character development, plot holes, story telling, animation, jokes and a bunch of other reasons... That happened cause it wasn't directed by the same people and it was released before it should have, that's also why the animation seems worse and more rushed.

I'm glad someone finally pointed out the weird chemistry Drac and Jonathan had.

I think the 4th movie would have been much better if Dracula´s conflict towards Jonathan was like "I don´t like you, I only tolerate you for Mavis´ sake and at this point it has nothing to do with you being human it´s your personality and I just can´t take you seriously", like it´s more about their lifestyles than their species and even after Johnny transformed himself into a monster they still had the same issues

Personally, it never made sense to me that the Invisible Man was hot. His charm is pure personality, if he was hot, being invisible is the last thing he would want. Now, it did bother me a lot that for the 4th movie the definition of "human" was equal to "white dude".

The first two hotel Transylvania movies are legit good, the third one passes because of the surprisingly epic final battle and because Kathryn Hahn is in it. And the fourth one cannot be saved, not even by Kathryn or Selena

Despite having stated in the first movie as having curly red hair, I had imagined him as a shaggy blond. Also thought he'd be shorter. Basically I imagined him looking like his voice actor.

I never actually realized that Dracula was rapping in the first movie. Up until now, I always thought he was speaking gibberish.

Okay so to clear up: Dennis, the kid(?) Is canonically the son of a vampire and a human, i.e. a Dhampir. They look human but have some of the positives of a vampire. Look at Alucard from castlevania for a play by play but make sure to exclude some of the game mechanics of Alucard (since he is from a game.)

Why was I lowkey disappointed the fourth movie didn't start with Drac and Erica's wedding? I mean, the second and third started with weddings! I thought it was gonna be a thing!

In human years, Mavis is 12 to 13 when she's literally 83, so the reviewer did their math completely wrong.

I thought the part where Dracula's hate for the humans was solved in movie 1 where it explains the reason, I can't believed they changed the story, they should just come up a different one where grandpa vampie was looking for someone new that would be fun.

i haven't watched the 4th movie. To me, the ads made it seem like some 30 min short of Johnny becoming a dragon and Mavis and Dracula becoming humans, which would be boring. It wasn't interesting to me (i tend to like kids shows and movies sometimes), but apparently it was big enough for content creators to make gta 5 videos about the characters breaking their bones. That didn't make sense to me, so i was waiting for this vid to come out. What am i even doing with my life. why do people create such monstrosities?

I HATED the fourth movie. It was ok until they came to South America. The location in the map is clearly Brazil, but they put everything in Spanish, not in Portuguese. The city they arrive is totaly chaotic, all the people seem to be dumb and "uncivilized", that is even a person holding a chicken in a bus! The city looks like a mix of a lot of other latino countries's stereotypes, and even remebered me of the way India is portrayed by the western media. Also, they just foccused in Amazon, reforcing the stereotype that Brazil it's just a big and dangerous jungle. And I hated the way they only said "South America", like it was a country and not a subcontinent with 13 different countries. Besides all the stereotypes, the movie isn't creative at all, Dracula's view of Johnny gets worse than in the first movie and all of what they tried to make funny just looked stupid and unnecessary.

What I don't get is the design of the invisible man is just so eugh. His neck, dude, he looks like a thumb. They went out of their way to make him look so weird, they could've kept the same design but with different proportions and it would've been fine. He can be "ugly" or unconventionally attractive, but fix his damn neck and nose size - it's too big! None of the other humans have that big a nose. Oh and don't even get me started on the mummy. Those cheeks, why.

I can tell people were freaking out about how the Invisible Man looked. When I saw his design, I was just like “That doesn’t look like it fits.” But once I watched the actual movie(against my own will), he did act like the Invisible Man. Also, you guys cannot be simping over floating glasses

If you haven’t already done it, you NEED to do the Strawberry Shortcake movies. 3D ones were better but both style of animation are pure crack.
