My palette arrived and this sh*t is magic fairy dust. I wasn't exactly sure what to do with it at first, until I put some on the enlarged pores on either side of my nose--suddenly it all goes into soft focus and my skin looks like silk. Best 80 bucks CAD I ever spent. Then the darkest one looks, not exactly like bronzer, but like a heavenly bronze glow. Thank you for the push Nikki--I absolutely love it.
These palettes are my favorite powders I use. I always get compliments when I use them. The bronze palette (I can’t Remember the name) I used it for all my face on a trip. For Eyeshadow ..blush ..highlighter .. and all over setting powder !!! It really is and all face palette.
Will you be reviewing g the 6 pan palettes? I have the medium/jaguar palette in my Sephora cart and due to price, I’m waiting to pull the trigger until I can see some reviews. I’m between that and the snake palette because I’m a medium to medium dark skin tone and can’t tell if the jaguar palette is deep enough.
I really wanted to love this product and it does absolutely nothing. I am a light skin toned who uses self tanner often. I wish I would have returned this product as I am now stuck with it. The blushes also are a huge disappointment from this brand. I bought almost every color. Still love you thou ❤
also, you may try to exfoliate your skin with (such as shave or microdermabrasion). also try a very moisturized skin and primer. I know it sucks to purchase products (and hourglass is expensive) and not like it.
@@Ally.F.O Robert Welsh needs to stop making generalized statements and speak for himself only. There’s tons of people who love this product, myself included. It seems to not work for some people, but that’s literally every make up product.
I have the dim light ambient powder and was really disappointed :( ive tried it in all sorts of ways but all it does is bring out the texture in my skin, zero soft focus or natural glow or anything. My skin isnt even textured to begin with! I hear nothing but good things about this product so i don't know what's going on. Maybe i got a dud?!?
Same I got the incandescent one and no difference at all. My skin is pretty good too texture too apart from the odd pimple I take good care of it and I see nothing 😢
I felt the same tbh. I got Diffused and it looks fine as a subtle natural highlight but on the rest of my face as a finishing powder, it’s just meh. My sister loves it though and she’s on her second Dim Light. I think this is just one of those products that is either hit or miss for people.
I really want to try this for an all over finish on my 70 year young face….I have wrinkles/texture on my lower cheeks/chin. Will this work for me @MakeupbyNikkiLaRose?
I’m only 30 and these make my fine lines/texture SO much more prominent. The Vol. I does not perform great. The vol II is gorgeous, but slightly too dark for me so I’d really only be able to use the bronzing shade 🫠
Ufff ya, im 41y and absolutely adooore my Hourglass powders so, sooo good and as soon as they release something, and i get my hands on them, im instantly sold, probably my most exiting release every year, ok, there are others, but when it comes to blushes, face palettes, this is definitely it for me, love for life🥰🤪😘
I've has this pallet for a long time but so afraid to use it. I use the darkest shade for bronzer but the other two have been sitting in the pan forever 😢
For me, it emphasized my texture and fine lines. The Vol I does not perform great IMO. Vol II is beautiful, but unfortunately it’s slightly too dark for me. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have texture at all. It does well with large pores, but if you have any raised texture or fine lines, it will definitely look off.
