A Feast for Crows
Lady Taena plays a significant part during the start of King Tommen I Baratheon's reign, being a confidant, adviser, and occasionally sharing the bed of Cersei Lannister, the Queen Regent. Cersei offers to foster Russell Merryweather, the young son of Taena and Orton, in King's Landing, which Taena says she will consider.
Cersei names Lord Orton to her small council as justiciar and master of laws. Cersei later raises him to be the new Hand of the King after she demotes Ser Harys Swyft to master of coin and lord treasurer.After Cersei's imprisonment by the Faith of the Seven, Taena and Orton flee King's Landing and return to Longtable.

I have noticed that by this map, if you compare Westeros to Great Britain, which is obvious by shape, that House Fossoway is located where the Fosse Way, an old Roman Road was in Roman Britain.

EVERY time I read about Taena's 'secret lover' I can't help but thinking of Brandon Stark AND Euron. Her description of him reads like a cross between those two guys. But more Euron. Which is CRAZY when you consider just how hard Orton keeps pushing for an Iron Born alliance. And isn't Varys from Myr, originally? Weird, that.

Definitely an interesting & believable theory but what about the scar she talks about? Is she just making that part up? Whatever the case, there's no way George would introduce them that late into the game for no reason, they're definitely working for someone
