The Economic and financial crimes commission has denied claims that its officers received a 15-million-naira bribe from Idris Okuneye known as ‘Bobrisky’ to drop the money laundering charges.
The EFCC representatives was at the House of Reps as it opened investigations into alleged bribery the EFCC and the Nigeria Correctional Service.
Assistant Controller General of the NCS Ben Freeman, told the joint committee that Bobrisky served his complete jail term at the kirikiri correctional facility.
