I think Rhaenerya was two years older than Laena (cause she was 14 when Laena was 12). And Alicent was older than Rhaenerya. At least in the show. I think in the books Alicent was 10 years older than Rhaenerya, and Rhaenerya was 5 years younger than Laena. That's why it didn't make sense in the show when Daemon said he didn't marry Rhaenerya cause she was a child, but he married Laena who was younger.

Alicent is supposed to be 18 in the show.

I think Laena being younger didn't matter as much to him cuz: Firstly, he doesn't love her as much as he does rhae (in the show), and she was an outsider with whom he didn't have any connection, prior to ep 5. And secondly, she was of age, 15? i believe, and in this fictional world it's not considered immoral to marry a girl of 15/16

To be fair, before it came to be seen as an insult "tavern wench" and "serving wench" were actually completely legitimate job titles for women who worked as servers of food or drink, particularly for women on the younger side. So while it CAN mean prostitute, it can also be the same as calling out "Waiter!" today.

I just hope the show can remain great without him. I started out rooting for just about everyone but by episode 8 they've all done some shitty things, Viserys included, but he's just too damn likable, so I decided to be on team King Vizzy T. Guess I got to pick a new side soon.
