The black guy with white dreads at 5:35 is Lord Corlys Velaryon: Known as the "Sea Snake", Velaryon along with Celtigars and Targaryen are the only Valyrian houses in Westeros, Celtigars and Velaryons have been subjects of the Targaryens even before Aegon the Conqueror, Valaryon house sigil is sea horse and their seat is an island next to Dragonstone called Driftmark, they are well know for having strong navy, most of the time they were named masters of the ships for Targaryen kings.

Its not really what happened that I hate about GoT’s ending its the rushed ass pacing that made it so messy. Hopefully this show takes from the first couple seasons that made GoT originally so fantastic! Also this is such a throwback for this channel, Ive been here since Talking Thrones so we’re going back to the roots haha!

Although they started shooting back in April, there's still some left to do on location in Spain from Oct 11-21 which is why it's very much a teaser. No doubt the show will have lots of huge action/dragons in it, just hope the writing, acting & directing is at least on par with the earlier GoT seasons especially as it's adapted from the completed Fire & Blood book! Given that the pilot director & co-showrunner is Miguel Sapochnik (directed 6 GoT episodes including Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards & The Long Night), slightly worried the focus may be too much on the action & CGI instead of story & characters! Hope I'm wrong given GRRM's involvement, but at least Ramin Djawadi is back to score the show!

It's about the Dance of Dragons, the Targaryen civil war between the Blacks (Rhaenyra Targaryen) & the Greens (Aegon II).

The GoT finale was horrible because it skips what should be years of character development. Dany skips seasons of development.

I've got chills all over my body. No WAY! FINALLY! I was wondering why they won't film the story of the Targarian dynasty. This will be epic. Can't wait for it.

Corlys Valaryon is a major lord of the time period in Westeros. His mother was foreign so that's why he is black.

King Viserys I is the fifth Targaryen King to sit on the iron throne. His younger brother Prince Daemon (Matt Smith) is a rogue Prince. Viserys' eldest child and heir Princess Rhaenyra doesn't get along with her mother in law, Queen Alicent Hightower because Alicent believes her own son should be Viserys' heir. And thus, House of the Dragon begins....

I'm cautiously hopeful for this, since the source material has already been completed and GRRM is directly involved. Also the iron throne looks much more like it would in the books, so that's a good sign.

A big thing is the fact that this story is already over. This story is already written and completed by George. So they have the entire source material to pull from eliminating a lot of the problems with what happened to Game of Thrones.

The black house is house is practically some of the most wealthiest people in westeros! Man with the longer dreads is lord Corlys Velaryon! He’s basically the king of the seas and have traveled and seen more of Westeros than most people nickname (The Sea Snake)They are not from wakanda lol they are also from Valeria hence the hair color lol thats pure black valyrian 🩸!some of them are also dragon riders for example the wife the one you thought had bullets on her necklace . She was also supposed the be seated on the iron throne but they chose a man over her. The young man behind them is the son and the daughter is to our right but slightly out of frame. That family is a pretty big deal. Their house was left out of GOT which was a big bummer.
