Since Rhaenys is an experienced dragon rider, she believes that she can win. Meleys can from underneath and did a lot of damage. Unfortunately, she lost sight so Aemond and Vhagar took advantage.

Raenys seemed like a "lost soul", possibly feeling unworthy. Although she went into battle to redeem herself, I wonder if she thought this could be her last battle?

The beginning of the end of Aegon's reign was when he humiliated Aemond at the brothel. That was the straw that broke the dragon's back.

Damn near perfect episode really the only critique I have or hang up is the fact the Raenys kept going back. I don't understand why. I'm just upset she had to go I'm kind of mad at her for going back. So really that's isn't a critique of the actual show. I m just upset she's gone and need someone to blame.

The only reason I can think of is that she didn't want to abandon the army. It would bring word of a Team Black loss across the realm which would be especially bad when they're trying to recruit more soldiers. That said, I think she's smart enough to have just left and let the internal conflict of Team Green eat itself up. She knows that Aemond just tried to kill the King, surely left him a cripple. Let their fratricide blow up drama in their team, and let them ruin themselves while living to battle another day.

ME too... i was like WHY?!! ... But remember, she could have stopped all this and nipped it at the bud and killed all the green side when she escaped kings landing last season. I felt like this was her saying, she wont hesitate again.. killing vhagar in this instance would mean victory and stopping the war in a sense since Vhagar is the greens only big advantage. She didn't hesitate this time, even though it meant her demise... she tried.

Damon in that castle being haunted while Rhaeneys got killed during battle 🤦🏽‍♀️but you can tell she knew she would die. Sad scene

Would have been a 10/10 for me if they would have had a more clear reason as to why Rhaenys would turn back. Or just written it in a way where she couldn't escape.

First half of the episode felt disconnected from the second half but ouch once we got to the battle 😭 I was so stressed out

I think team green took the biggest loss simply because their king os now incapacitated. Black lost a key player and position, but not THE key player.

Adam and Allan of Hull are the bastard sons of Lord Corlis Velaryon who just so happens to be future dragonseeds. But only one of the two will be a proven dragon rider of Leanor's dragon Seasmoke 🐉 in the battles to come. They both will be important characters as the Dance of the Dragons descends from bad to worse for both sides. FYI, during their marriage, the Seasnake traveled far wide, so it's more than likely he had many ports that he docked his ship 🚢.

Rhaenys stayed with the fight as she showed up to defend Rook’s Rest, which would have certainly been effed if she left the scene, so she did her duty.

Both Aegon and Sunfyre are fubar (fucked up beyond all recognition) but barely survive. They both will be persona non grata for the duration of the war. Aegon has suffered considerably from severe burns over most of his body. In the books, parts of his Valyrian armor is fused to his body. He also sleeps 💤 10 hours a day forever, depending on milk 🥛 of the poppy dulling the unspeakable pain. While Sunfire is being attended by Criston's soldiers who protect and feed him nearby livestock until well enough to move on its own.

Im glad the show finally just dove into the Supernatural. It feels like they weren't really trying to go there until the recent 2 episodes😊 we havent really seen any supernatural events 9utside of the dragons. So its cool to get that spooky Supernatural element added.

Why does everybody specify that they are "Team Black"? EVERYBODY is Team Black. This show is very one sided... even though Daemon is a trash human. Honestly... the person that would have made the best ruler just died. (*rip* Miss 'Nysie )🤣
