I would turn the front porch into a little garden. Build a pergola with grapes growing on it. Add a couple of wood planter boxes for some kitchen herbs and some annual flowers to add some color🌺

Long time subscriber here for a good few years. My daughter was 9 when you bought this house. She watched this back with me and she remembers how it looked with all the red! For the dresser in the bedroom; see if you can find a “highboy” dresser in a similar style as the rest of your furniture. It will be taller, but more narrow than your current dresser. You don’t lose storage space for your clothes, but it will fit in the nook to the side of the bed where you originally planned a fireplace. My husband and I have had fireplaces in the bedrooms of two of the houses we’ve owned and we absolutely love having a fireplace there! I vote for putting in a gas fireplace in front of your bed instead of to the side. Just my humble opinion, though. It’s amazing how you have transformed your home over the years!

What about possibly opening up your closets and making that a wall? Then you would have a large walk in closet for even more closet and storage space. I also love the idea of a dresser with a mirror above it in that space and then your fireplace on the other wall with the tv hanging above it. 😊- Joanna

In your master bedroom, I'd turn that spot back into a closet, or into shelves with doors. You'll be needing to get your suitcases and backpacks out of Levi's closet at some point, and you've got the space there in your room. Maybe you can sneak in the fireplace also, if you want. In the living room, you could paint the fireplace surround and front of the hearth to match the wall color, or do a solid color that's less busy. You've done amazing things to your home, and it's gorgeous! ❤ I never miss an episode of yours. Show us your chickens, plz!
