Nestled in the heart of the city that never sleeps, Stephen Sposito has called this 100 year-old apartment building home for the past 6 years. With a passion for the arts and an eye for design, he embarked on a light renovation project a few years ago to refresh the nearly 1,000 square feet studio into a loungey haven.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of 80's New York City, Sposito has adorned his abode with rich colors and textures that seamlessly coalesce. The studio is a testament to his artistic flair, featuring a mix of elements ranging from sumptuous suede sofas and mohair pillows to intricate bronze sculptures and dried florals.
Although small in size, the apartment includes clever storage solutions that allow for a seamless transition between work and leisure.The color palette of warm and rich hues envelopes you as you explore each corner of this enchanting studio. Every detail, carefully curated, evokes a sense of comfort and sophistication. Enjoy!

Although it isn't my taste, I was blown away by the incredibly original idea of putting all of the functional areas of the home behind those doors. It keeps the kitchen looking minimalist and modern, yet is so incredibly functional! Very cool.

This is blatantly the home of someone who has a soft spot for the cultured, deliberate interiors of arty, city dwelling intellectuals of the1970s and 1980's. Not my taste but I immediately recognised it and the nostalgic flash back was unexpected and lovely. A ravishing home, so chic.

I greatly appreciate the honesty of the tours on this channel. I'm tired of "exaggerated" New York City apartment tours where people think that every apartment in SOHO is a loft, all "terrace apartments" are penthouses... and they say they live in the East Village, when meanwhile they live in Stuyvesant Town. Nice to see a home tour by a guy that you wish was your own neighbor. What a relief!!!

Wow. This place is amazing. The longer I listened to him the more it resonated with me. He is so right about how placement makes all the difference and how important editing is. Great Ideas for a smaller apartment! Really classy! I loved the warmth that it has, yet the light of the white kitchen and storage area were brilliant! So Sorry about losing your dad! Special thoughts of him during that awful time in our world.

you need to get your quartz out in the sun to " recharge" it once inthe while or it will get dulll and "flat" over time put it out in the sun for a few hours as often as you can to recharge its energy

Great apartment. The only thing I didn't care for, is that row of lights over the bed. I was getting a highway motel vibe. To me, it feels jarring in that room. Still, it's an AWESOME place overall.

Very nice, but why two doors in the bedroom? I would close the one at the entrance hall and just leave the one next to the bathroom. Much more privacy.

I wouldn't like that. I'd feel trapped in such a small space especially if the curtains were closed. I think it's much safer to have two exits.

Right. Because you're not there in real life able to see the subtle colors he spoke of. Computer screens do not give an accurate representation of color IMHO. As in rugs I've purchased on line that are completely different IRL.
