Just a side note on clothes lines. When hung out in full sun (especially whites) the sun acts as a natural sanitizer as well as bleaching out stains. Napisan or bleach are never as effective as the sun for stains, just be sure to use a cold wash so the stain doesn’t set. There is nothing better than getting into bed in fresh sheets that have been line dried. I hate winter, when we have to revert to the dryer.
Lol I’ll slowly get there. My wife (who grew up in Christchurch, but slowly lost her accent while living with me in America) often has to translate for me 😂
K Mart does look epic there! - what beautiful house. I love all the windows and the huge sliding door! Nakita’s bed is so cute! The drying rack actually reminded me of being in England. So foreign to us Americans but that’s how Chris grew up. You look all settled in! So happy for you guys! 💕❤️
I was specifically looking for a house tour video on the queensland area and found your chanel. Seriously want to visit there someday. I saw the place in a movie when I was young and ever since then it's been one of my dream destination. Your house is beautiful. Keep uploading. ❤️
Kia Ora and Welcome to our beautiful country. Love watching your family vlogs, gotta ❤ the south island. Im born and bred in the north island...Waikato (Hamilton) and am captuated by your vlogs of your journey from the states to NZ. Aroha mai ka pai whanau.
Its a beautiful home my friend congrat ya.....👍 I really want to have my own house, but until now I still don't have a house 😭 please pray for me, friends, so that I can have a house. Greetings from Indonesia, stay healthy and good luck.
Interesting, good to know! We’ve found that the NZ climate helps a lot! We’re I’m from in the states, the weather hits crazy extremes in both highs and lows so there’s really only maybe 3 months where we even could hang our clothes outside 🤦🏻♂️
I had to pick myself up off the floor when I heard you don’t have clotheslines in the States. Are you kidding me!? I’m in Australia and it’s the first thing we use to dry our clothes. Most of us have electric dryers but they’re only reserved for rainy days. Such a waste of energy.
They're nice, but they honestly kinda don't fit into Jacks Point. We don't live in Jack's anymore, but I imagine most Jack's residents don't love that they're bringing in cheaper accommodation into Jacks. With that said... they are nice! Just not at nice as everything else in Jacks.
Family and friends in America miss us while we’re here, and we miss them! 🥺 And family and friends here in NZ miss us while we’re back in the states, and we miss them then 🥺 So it’s both ways though having an international family, but we try to make the best of it
@@GoandLove oh wow! Wondering, what’s the reason for settling in that part of the country! My 10 year old “can’t wait to visit NZ” amongst other countries and keeps reading up on it/ watching RU-vid/ follows ranked lists, charts.. etc ... we love watching your videos!
Aww, that’s so sweet! Where are you guys living now? And our next video is actually about why we moved here!!! We just filmed it and it’ll be posted in a few days :) But the short answer is “this is the most beautiful area of the most beautiful country in the world” 😂😍
We just rented. We loved Jack’s, but have actually already moved. Our new place is pretty incredible if you want to see: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gDmjJ9NlNbM.html
Right?! Not only a creek, but a pretty steep hill down to the creek. We’ve been ok so far obviously, but if we move, that’s certainly one of the main reasons. I’ll be putting up a simple mesh fence soon. Everything else is lovely!
🥺 He’s staying with my parents back in Chicagoland. He absolutely loves them and if we brought him with, he would need to be quarantined in a dog cage for 2 weeks and we didn’t want to put him through that 🥺
