Plenty of room in the garden for a large patch of mint. We used to sit on the porch of Gus' house down the block, pick fresh mint, and add to our tea and cocktails.

Here in the Southern US screened in porches are common as the weather accommodates some outside living year round. A conservatory style glass enclosure would require central air and heating to be usable at any time of the year
