I would love to see a video about the scientific background of variegation in different genuses! :) I absolutely enjoyed your explanation of the different layers and chimeric variegation. Would you consider doing a deep dive in this topic based on studies on aroids and hoyas, for instance?
When using sphagnum to rehab or root, I've started adding perlite or orchiata to help when I go to remove it and pot up because I definitely struggle to get the plant out before the roots become tangled😅 but now that I've been in the hobby for some years I've found that water is actually how I prop most of my plants, at least to get the rooting process started🤷🏻♀️ simple and easy is where I'm at now 😂
Very fun! Also surprised that folks aren’t liking monsteras and variegated plants much. I think I didn’t like hoyas before because they grow so slowly, but then that’s prob because I wasn’t giving them the right environment to grow in lol. But yes, so hard not to get influenced by social media. Ugh! 😅
Totally agree that it can be hard to know if you truly like a plant before purchasing it. Living with it seems to make all the difference, and this can also change quite a bit over time.
Yikes the focus is all over the place. 😭Please don't come at me. I really appreciate you guys sharing your opinions. I'm sorry if I misinterpreted any of them 💚
Great video. Very surprised to hear about the variegated monstera. My hot take is that moss poles arent worth it if you don't keep up with its moisture levels - otherwise just go for any other support. Another hot take, I still think philodendron strawberry shake has vomit variegation😅
Great video.Very interested in your video content.I'm the marketing PR for SANSI, a grow lighting manufacturer,I wonder if you are interested in LED grow lights, we can send you a free light sample for review.
