Hey guys. I raised 3 kids as a single mom. The key to getting the kids to sleep through the night is a consistent schedule. Do not over stimulate (and no sugar) after 6pm. If you use a night light, use a light blue hue bulb, lavender essential oil defused in their room to help calm and relax. A warm bath 1 hr before bed. And soft relaxing sound/music playing in their room while they sleep. And of course keep them active during the day to run those internal batteries down..

You two are so much fun to watch. My husband knows nothing about my plants or the cost & I like it that way. Ryan, you are not alone and you're so sweet to support Harli!

I love the idea of you guys filming the true crime stuff together! I watched your video on that the other day and loved it - I was sad there wasn’t more! Just generally would like more Ryan content! You two are great together.

So this worked like a charm for ours! Last bottle of the evening and then a bath and they would knock right out. They always slept SO much harder and longer after a bath. Lavender body wash or whatever you have helps them get sleepy too!

This is a nice change of pace once in a while! Ryan is great in front of the camera and it's nice to hear about your family life!

Ryan and Harli you both are so fun to watch! I loved watching your funny reels! You both are amazing parents! Some kids sleep some don’t! Mine woke up several times in the night. Eventually they start to sleep better and you get great sleep through the whole night.

I love how supportive plant husbands are! Mine listens to me work out planty problems and he does plant tours when I’m stressed about a real life issue. It helps me think to focus on the plants while the issue percolates in my brain. What do you teach, Ryan? My husband is a middle school principal. He needs teachers desperately.

You gave me the greatest idea. I’m going to ask all of my adult children which is five to send me videos of them and their spouses having a chat session, that would be so interesting to me. I have not seen them in a long time. Still wanting to propagate a China doll.

Aw this is such a chill hangout type of video. I dig this style. It’s like a lil podcast. Would definitely listen to/watch while doing plant chores. As for baby sleep we give them a snack and play with them a bunch during the energy burst so they crash hard and sleep nice and heavy. Best of luck

Welcome back Ryan! Here's the secret to kids sleeping through the night.... THEY DON'T! All 3 of mine have gone through periods of not sleeping well. My oldest was the worst and didn't sleep through the night until he started school (4 years old). He still wakes up insanely early. And my youngest just turned 1 and we're sleep training/night weaning now...I don't think it's working lol The only source I've come across that I like is a book called "Precious Little Sleep" by Alexis Dubief. It's entertaining and educational and even after implementing the strategies, my kids still didn't sleep perfectly. They got better! But it didn't fix everything. Every kid is different and some kids (especially the sweet, really well behaved ones) don't sleep!🤪

Mom and Mimi here: sleep tips: nice warm baths with lavender scents, quiet with not very much stimulation after bath. No sweets or carbs after super. If they are hyped up on those they don't sleep well. Lessen naps late in the afternoon.

I used white noise or meditation sleep music for my son. It didn't play all night but it'd put him in a deep sleep.

I recommend this big precious little sleep. It’s a really good book. I had to retrain my toddler several times. Try the Ferber method, it’s more gradual than cry it out

My kids didn't sleep through the night regularly until they were like 4. I'll pray for you. I did a big kid bed for my oldest on the floor of her room, made it safe in there for her and just closed the door and let her go to sleep on her own. She never really cried, she did get up and play, I'd find her asleep all over the place, but after awhile she got the hang of it. My son was easy and once he went into his big boy bed at 3 and just slept thru the night.

I’m hoping this makes you feel a bit better about the sleeping it most likely has nothing to do with anything you’re doing wrong. Kids bodies are weird and they have chaotic energy sleeping is hard. However I’ll say the things that worked for me was no sugar 2 hours before bed, bathroom right before bed/ limited liquid before bed(wet diapers would wake my son up immediately) I also had a security blanket for him that would soothe him back to sleep as opposed to me doing it! Hope that’s helpful. Ps y’all are the cutest 🥰🥰
