I have the best luck with the Angel plants the trick is to check the soil first thing to make sure they arent over watered but if they are either repot them or take the rootball and wrap them in papertowel and newspaper to wick the water out of the soil over night, put it back into the pot then airate gently with a chop stick or something similar. Just my 2cents, thats what I had to do with over watered scindapsus.

Harli, first of all, way to go on getting out and doing a plant shopping video out of your comfort zone. They were the first videos of yours that I watched and I was missing them. Also, you were on fire, it was so great to see you not only do something that gives you anxiety but to go out and stand up for someone in public that would normally give anyone so much anxiety that they would leave without doing it and have regrets about it later. The staff member that was helping you was very lucky to have a customer as caring as you. Well done!

Does anyone ever get put off by bugs on a plant at the store and then decide not to buy plants from that store because of a possible infestation it might bring into your home...or is that just me?? Yes. I always check plants I buy for bugs and keep it separate from my other house plants for a week or so before I put in with my other ones.

Last time I bought a plant from Lowe’s it had spider mites and it killed a good portion of my plants. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get rid of them. I told myself I wouldn’t buy from a big box store again. Even though I’m super tempted at times.

That was so cool of you, Harli. As someone with social anxiety, I know it's a struggle to make small talk a lot of the time, let alone confront someone. I know too many times I've stayed quiet when I wanted to speak up, it's not a good feeling at all. I hope you feel really proud of yourself, and I wanted to thank you for the inspiration and courage to push through my own struggles. I don't have anxiety, but am very proud of you for going out, and especially for saying something to the rude coworker. I haven't been to our HD or Lowe's for a long time, so not sure what they have. I'm trying to wait until I can buy outdoor plants for my flower pots, which hopefully will be soon. Also, our irrigation water should be on in a few days, which will help. Good luck with the maidenhair fern! I thought I'd killed mine but then I chopped it right back to the base over the winter and now its grown back bigger than ever! So don't give up on it if the foliage crisps up and dies off! xxx

i've had my button fern for a while and i definitely almost like it like 2 or 3 times in the beginning bc it kept drying out BUT i put it on rocks in a cloche from ikea and it hasn't dried out since and it's grown so much over the winter and i only ever really bottom water it so i would definitely recommend trying that for your fern!!

My Lowe's has a horrible selection and we are in beautiful Pensacola Florida zone 9 I think and what's funny is our Lowe's home Depot Walmart all get their plants from Costa farms literally the same place!!! I don't even think these stores get to pick what is sent it's just like they pay the farm and the farm makes the decisions on what is sent, so you end up with some stores having better selections than others... SHOP AT YOUR LOCAL PLANT NURSERIES PEOPLE SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS ESPECIALLY SM. OWNED PLANT NURSERIES

I literally love plant shopping! I can't walk into Walmart, lowes, or home depot without buying a plant... over quarantine, I went from maybe 5 plants to over 100 ( and growing ). I love ivy so much! The first one I got was doing amazing for a few weeks and then just decided to randomly die, but since then, I have gotten one of the exact same ivy and on different one and I've been keeping them in a tank with a full spectrum grow light and a reptile uvb+uva light with once a week bottom watering and random misting and they are thriving, and pumping out new growth. One of my ivy were probably 6 feet from the end of on vine to the end of the other. I just took clippings to propagate! I believe they were two different varieties of Hedera helix but am not sure because all the label said was " ivy ".... I believe the one that has taken off is the H. helix Mona Lisa and the one that I had two of is the H. Helix Annette.

maidenhair ferns need a lot of water, I suggest putting them in more coco coir or peat moss soil mix, and the pot type doesn't matter. they also love bright indirect sunlight and humidity though make sure no mould or anything grows. I'm sure I'll do great and they are really pretty plants.

Hi Harli! 🤗 Love your video as always! Totally sad this one cuts off your by song at the end💚 I treat a fern like an African violet as far as lighting and soil goes but add in some perlite and bark..they like more humidity as well of course. 200+ varieties but most sold as houseplants like warmth unfortunately not the cold like ones we see here in the usa and these will drop leaves quick if to cold. I keep those clear 50cent saucers under my 12 different ferns full of water/fill them up when they dry out and use plastic/ceramic pots... also flush the soil once a month to get rid of any buildup..hope this helps and totally jelious of your rosy maidenhair find! 💚☺

I got into an argument with another customer once because she was being really nasty to the cashier ON CHRISTMAS MORNING. I also have REALLY bad social anxiety, but when it comes to standing up for people or animals I fight through the anxiety, but have a severe adrenaline dump like you do. I would have done the same thing, I might have even asked to speak with the manager and tell them about it. 😂 I support it!!

I've killed two maidenhair ferns haha 😅 one came back to life though after i left it dead outside on the terrace 🤯 Brought it back in and put it on under a plastic dome and it's been thriiiiiving since 😄💚 Being a really anxious person myself, I just wanted to say YOU ARE AMAZING 🙌🙌🙌!! I know how intense and hard that must have been for you to go up to that person and tell them they were inappropriate and disrespectful ❤️

I thought I would struggle with my maiden hair because I’ve killed a brake fern before. I just keep it constantly moist, water all the way through. I keep it about 8-10 feet from my western window. It’s having new growth some little browning fronds but it’s doing really good. I keep it around 45-60% humidity!

Have you ever been to a Walmart ? Mine has so many good plants! I just got a beautiful neon pothos. I love you so much ! I wish I was this confident. In all my videos I sound super boring. I need your energy. How your fern doing. Is it still alive

So I haven’t been here for long...I’m starting my plant journey in the last year (officially, outside of killing a few in college) and I’m super excited I found you! I liked you before, but after this video, we could be best friends. 😂 I have the same anxieties and would love to start a YT channel except that I’m a freidy cat. AND I would soooo have done the same thing, sticking up for that girl. It was absolutely necessary! Great job girl!

OKKKKK LIL BADASS!!! Good for you for standing up for the worker. Jewelry counter sucks, I used to cover for them at Sears. Worst place to get stuck 🙃
