@@thespear4083 Really depends on the time of the stay. Dogs need to be fed, so a couple days would warrant taking the dog if you don't have a sitter or someone else to take care of it in the meantime.

I have a book that was written by two women, mother and daughter, who worked at the White House as maids from President Taft right up to President Kennedy’s inauguration. In the book, they talk about the various pets the presidents and their families had when in office. That’s where I learned about Rebecca! The book is called “Backstairs At The White House”, written by Maggie Rogers and Lillian Rogers Parks. If you’re a reader, I highly recommend it! It was also made into an 8-hour movie that was broadcast on NBC in the 1970’s which is really well done, but like most book-turned-movie stories … the book is better because it’s a little more intense and contains far more details. Either way, I promise you’ll smile, grimace, wonder, raise your eyebrows, laugh, get mad, hoot, holler, be sad, cry until you laugh, and laugh until you cry! Hahaha! It aired at 9:00P on CBS but I don’t remember what night of the week. There was a show called AfterMASH where some of the characters were cast as their M*A*S*H* characters. It was an ok show - but it didn’t have the tempo nor the grip and only aired for two years. Thank you again! We’ll meet another time soon!
