My Mom and I had a cat who was obsessed with fabric. My Mom's a quilter and has rooms full of bins of fabric. We kept finding piles of fabric pieces, some of them pretty large, all over the house. We finally caught him doing it. He'd sit in the bin, carefully using his paws to browse through the fabric, picking out specific pieces and setting them aside. Then he'd carry each piece to a pile in another room. My Mom sewed him a quilt out of the pieces he picked. He was such a special, affectionate cat.
Awwwww, I am smiling so huge right now, and after the day at work I had, I really needed that!!! Thank you!!!!!!! So cool, she made him a quilt out of his fav pieces....she is awesome!!!
IT'S NOT MALICIOUS, IT'S HIS OFFERING TO THE HOME. HE CAN'T GO GROCERY SHOPPING TO CONTRIBUTE, SO HE BRINGS HOME WHAT HE THINKS WILL COMPLIMENT HIS MOM.
@@Okillydokilly69and the young white makes cats have a tendency towards kitty sex trafficking crimes not to include the Catholic cats (pun intended with Cat-holic)😂
Cats! Our cat, Ramone, is deceased now but we, and our neighbours, got to enjoy his shenanigans for 15 years. He was the biggest sweetheart ever. Always had to visit with everyone, greet them with a friendly hello. He'd jump in your vehicle just to tease. He somehow felt entitled to enter our neighbour's homes and they let him! He liked eating flowers....all of us had half eaten flower beds. If someone had a garage sale he'd hang around, walking on the tables, getting pets from people coming and going. It still amazes us how awesome our neighbours were with him. He obviously stole their hearts like he'd stolen ours. A new family bought the house directly across from us just recently. They have 2 cats and I sure enjoy watching those cats wander around.
@wifemotherconservative3432, I had a kitty for 16 years and he looked very similar to the void kitty that is in the thumbnail of this story. Fortunately, mine had the common sense to NOT be a thieving kleptomaniac, though. I miss my Star cat like you miss your Ramone kitty.
I’m not really a cat person. I’ve never owned one and have always had dogs in my family. After this story, I’m considering going to the shelter nearby and adopting one. EDIT: I ADOPTED A CAT! READ MY COMMENT IN THE FEED! TY EVERYONE!
@Pnabjlqwfvyzb, please get a kitty like the one that is in this video, as they tend to not only be the ones that are the most overlooked, but also the sweetest ones as well. However, you have to be careful around Halloween, as a lot of sickos will try to murder them for sick and sadistic pleasures, and/or for Satanic rituals, so keep them inside during that time of the year.
I have never regretted adopting my psycho kitties, demon spawns, quirkier than all get out cats. I have a tendency to walk into a shelter and come out with a cat that most people won’t give a chance. I had a black cat who had been abused probably from kitten to one year. I had a grey one who had been in a shelter for weeks. Be forewarned that a shelter cat might need a lot of patience but when they learn to trust you, the love you receive will be worth it.
He’s a lost cause 😂 Absolutely shameless and not remorseful in any way shape or form 🤣 The owner and neighbors are awesome for being very understanding. 🎉
Cleo's OCD has been met with a positive reaction by the community by helping to fund the local animal shelter. We need more cat burglars out there like Cleo. Way to go! 👍❤
He is amazing. He is not stealing but bringing gifts for his family because he loves them. Please be kind to him and do not punish him for being such a good cat!
No, they are bejng "jerks" to the owner. Sadly this is why we have so many criminal kids when parents treat it like its just cat shenannigans and do not police what their kids do until they are in prison for murder.
@@UpcomingJedi You're taking this much too seriously. It is clearly not a big issue for the residents, if only a little annoying. Cats do not understand that this is wrong. This is the same behaviour a cat makes when it brings back a bird or a mouse to "contribute", it's intentions are pure. When we leave the house for work the cat just thinks we're out hunting and bringing back food for ourselves and them. Of course, if you're talking larger animals like dogs, then yes, this behaviour should be reined in, but we allow this behaviour because they're too small to cause any real harm and we like them hunting pests.
@@Ateezwooyounghmm. I have had an outside cat for about 3 years now. Just showed up here one day. We feed her 3 times a day & build shelters for her outside. She even gets a heating pad under the blanket inside her shelter in the winter time. She comes to see me every time I go outside pretty much & I always bring her treats. Have gotten her inside about 3 times now. But every single time, she cries & cries & cries, hides, doesn't eat. Then as soon as we let her outside to the backyard which is fenced in with a cat fence, she climbs the fence & gets out again. I just worry a lot about her being outside. I used to love the rain & also cold weather but now I feel like I can't even enjoy it anymore because I'm worried about the outside cats being uncomfortable (we have another one too but he is feral & won't let us anywhere near) but yeah, I think you are right.
Friends of mine had a cat that mostly stole food. One day, while I was there, he came in with a pork chop. His attempts to get in through the cat-flap with this giant slab of pig is what drew our attention. The thing is, it was grilled on one side. How he got it we never knew, but I visualised someone turning around in their kitchen and being totally baffled. My friend finished grilling it and fed him the evidence, making us all accessories. They'll never take me alive!
My dad always told us a story, about how his family had a cat growing up that LOVED the cellophane wrap that went around cigarettes. When he went out he would find them or dig them out of trash cans and drag them home to play with. At first, his mom thought his kids had picked up smoking, and only realized it was the cat when she saw him dragging one in.
My beloved former kitty would do this and I was SO embarrassed 🤣. She would steal from neighbors' patios. Among her collection: A Barbie doll, a toddler-sized pink Converse, a toddler-sized poncho, a gardening glove, a bikini top, a Barbie dress, random sponges and washcloths, so many other things. Over the 2 years that I lived in those apartments she filled up 2 kitchen drawers. I kept her problem "quiet" 😂. I think she was actually nesting. I miss her so much. She would also physically break up fights between other cats!
Great story!!! Our rescue neutered male kitty keeps bringing his "Batty", a bat toy once containing catnip, to wherever we are. But he announces by very loud vocalizations like "Here I come!!! Wait for me!!" and produces Batty. Completely disappears during the day but absolutely at night Batty is moved room to room and always ends up in bed with us. Isnt that just the funniest thing?
Had a dog that climbed the fence and did that. Even brought screwdrivers, wrenches and welcome door mats home. My fav was the 1/2 deflated basketball and tennis balls.
What he is doing is just beautiful. I call that LOVE. Its bringing neighbors together. He is just so different. Please treat him with more love. One of my jet black kittys named missy, would grab their snack plates, the dishwashing bottle n sponge and hide it, but only at nights.
Thankyou for donating please get fixed. Funds for strays to get Fixed. Small towns have big problems seeing new born kitties dead on the streets strays not fixed Thankyou
More than 20 years ago, I had a cat that loved to bring things into the living room when we had company. During one visit, he brought a pair of my sweatpants and left it in the center of the room, then went back for more. In addition to the sweatpants, he brought in a few socks, some underpants and a shirt. Our guests thought it was hilarious! I just kept telling the cat what a good boy he is!
I'm finding more and more how beloved cats and other animals are becoming around the world. It's like they know the world is a messed up place, so they try harder to put a smile on our face. Maybe I'm just being silly, but my two cats make me laugh every day. ❤
Oh my goodness i adore this precious baby!!! What an adorable behaviour! The way he struggles to drags his stolen items is so hilariously cute! 🥹🥰 love everything about this story ❤️
Macavity’s a Mystery Cat: he’s called the Hidden Paw- For he’s the master criminal who can defy the Law. He’s the bafflement of Scotland Yard, the Flying Squad’s despair: For when they reach the scene of crime-Macavity’s not there!
Aw! Love this. We have one cat who is an outdoor/indoor cat(he already was when he was abandoned and rescued by us and basically yowls and pees everywhere if we refuse to let him out). He mostly stays on the porch or in the driveway by the car but he has always attracted people and other animals to him. Neighbors will come into the drive to pet him, deliver drivers stop and give him scritches, other animals follow him home and hang out with him. The other rescues we have climb all over him when he is in the house.
He is a precious little soul! ❤😂👍🏻🎅👍🏻 He brings things home because he thinks he has to, wants to make his family "happy", and he gets extra attention. They learn from observing their people.
Not trying to be a downer, but all it takes is one pissed-off neighbor and I don't really want to think what might happen. Keep that beautiful cat indoors where he can be safe. If anything happens to that cat, it's entirely the owner's fault.
@@mjremy2605 Keep telling yourself that. Yes, in a perfect world, I'd be happy to let mine out. Why not ask your vet for the laundry list of dangers that DO to happen to cats that are allowed to roam at will. It's absolutely irresponsible, just as much so as to let your young child to roam without keeping a vigilant eye on them.
@@chrisfurius I do see your point, but I disagree with imprisoning cats. Cats need to be outdoors 80% of time. They enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, exercise, it is mentally stimulating, they eat grass, scratch their nails on branches, and are happier being free. Never imprison any animal, especially a cat. It is cruel and unhealthy. A catio is a terrible invention. Either keep cats free or don't keep them. Bengal cats can be walked on leash, but not others. If anyone harms a pet or any animals, that is a felony charge.
@@mjremy2605 When I went to the shelter to bring home a cat(they swindled me into taking 2 littermates. I mean that jokingly of course), I already had recommendations and they were like 'oh, by the way, will they be indoor or outdoor?', to which I replied indoor. They said good answer - had you said outdoor, we would have rejected your adoption. Like I said - in a perfect world, I'd love to let them out. But countless bad things happen to them everywhere, every day. And I hardly thing they live miserable lives as indoor pets(for their own safety).
Awww Cleo the “Klepto Kitty” has my heart! I hope nobody ever tries to hurt him or anything. He just likes fabrics way too much because of his substrate affinity. He is adorable, and the shirts are a fantastic idea!
Yes exactly. Just shows how little the vet knows. Cats are proud of their prey and needs to be thank and told they are good. Oh yes JESUS CHRIST loves you call on HIM HE will answer you.
Somewhat reminds me of my childhood cat. My mom and I lived in a little cottage in Montana, he was an indoor/outdoor cat to help with pests and things so we always had a door or window open in the spring and summer so he could freely go in and out. Whenever we sat down to the table to eat he would run outside and catch what always seemed to be the biggest grasshopper he could find, and would bring it inside to loudly munch on it under the table while we were eating. Despite him having a full bowl of cat food.
