As a Texans fan, I appreciate the unbiased content from Duvall. Looks good to me, IOL, DT, and CB seem to be the spots of the most concern. Max Melton and Cedric Gray I’m all for. 👍 Duuuuvalll!🤘
The Texans need IDL, S, CB, RB, TE. Then pick up a offensive lineman or two later in the draft. T’Vondre Sweat, Tyler Nubin, and then the best player available at the other positions that I mentioned. If Max Melton is available at 86, take Melton. When I think of Kansas, I think of basketball, not football offensive linemen. Pass on Puni unless he is available at 188 or 189. We need a running back and a tight end at 123 and 127. The Texans have edge guys. They don’t need to waste 86 on Bralen Trice. At best, he would be a back-up in 2024. Getting Melton, Puni, and Trice would hardly excite me or most other Texans fans. 😠 We don’t have that many picks to squander three picks - 123, 188, and 189 - to move up to 107 to take Mekhi Wingo? And if we land Sweat with our first pick, we don’t need Wingo, right? By the way, we need a tackle who can stop the run, not someone who can pass rush. Cedric Gray is a good athlete, but not one of my favorities in the draft. He played in the crappy ACC. Your top linebackers play in the SEC and the B1G. I would use this pick to take the best tight end available. By the way, the Texans use a lot of defensive sets with only two linebackers. Caden Wallace is OK. Jalen Coker who? Nick Caserio rarely takes guys from small schools like Holy Cross. Why? Because they do not face a lot of NFL calibre defensive backs in those smaller conferences. I do not like your draft!
I get that they think they are going hit on 1 of free agent cb and probably looking for a slot cb. Will be drafting wards replacement and a few d/o line guys. Loved the Coker pick.
