Thank you! One of my hoverboard's light doesn't come on for some reason though, it's the circle one. That's the side that doesn't work. I see in this video that his lights up but mine doesn't. I want to know if I have a problem other than the fact that the side doesn't turn, and would it make a difference or not.

Hello, I am thinking about getting the gyroscope sensor, but I am not sure if it will work for mine, I have an 8 inch one, and the pad is curved it isn't the same as that one :/

I had that exact problem. I checked the connections pushing the Together and it worked. Great video 👍🏻

So... When you still had the problem and when your hover board was off... Did the wheel that wasn't working move when you spun it with your hands (in both directions). My left wheel won't move frontwards when it's off or on... Do you have a solution?

I paid $58 for my Segway....all they sent me was a sensor pad and half a wheel....

Was there anything visibly wrong with the original one? I believe i have the same problem but it seems to be okay.

Did this repair fixed the problem permanently or you got more problems with the board?

I have a question... Mine has the Sam problem except both sides are messed up! Anyways... My question is, when I was trying to fix the red blinking light and then this happened... So when I get this part and put it in will that red light keep blinking? Or will it work right away? And how did your get like that too? Thank you

Question: Don't you have to calibrate the new sensor first? You just replace it, and switch on the board? And that's it? I got my board and probably screwed up calibrating it. So I never used it.. yet. If I get a new part I do not want to mess up again, hence my question.

My right wheel stops like that but I changed the part you have and it still does not work help

Hi, My hoverboard is stopping while riding, do you have any clue of the problem? I replaced ALL the electrical circuits, but still have the problem... I just unpluged the battery as someone told me it could solve it... I was also thinking of a battery problem, but I'm not sure that it can solve the problem... The board is working if the load on the wheel is not too high (strength request), if too high, it could leed to a lower voltage of the battery, something like going from 36V to 30V or lower... Maybe you could ask around you if someone had my problem also Nevertheless, thank you for your answer... Kindest regards William

Hey! On the side that wasn't working was the wheel locked in place even while off (could you spin it)?? Did you hear a high pitched noise while the device was on before you fixed it?? I believe I have the same issue I just need clarification before I spend another $60 on this thing.

I am contemplating doing this just so I have updated sensors, do you think that is worth it?

I have the bluetooth version. But the speaker and bluetooth board seemed to have stopped working. Does anybidy know where I can buy replacements

My 10 year old grandson has one and it shuts down while hes riding it and it throws him off.. His mom left it sit overnight being it was hot. The next day the board had not been touched so they charged it up for a couple hours.. light turned green that charge was done.. he got on it and within a min or so it threw him off again. Any idea what this problem is?

my segway goes in only one direction. If i press the front of the pad on both sides or the back of the pad makes no difference. it moves but it moves in the same direction whether the front or back pads are pushed. I have recalibrated but no help.

Seeking help with what I think is an electronics issue. Have 5 light error on battery side when in diagnostic mode. Both wheels don't run, and on power up, the battery light turns green, then immediately blinks red with the audible horn. Have confirmed all cable connections including the battery side wheel hall effect. KEY POINT (I think) THE BATTERY SIDE WHEEL has a detente feel when rotated - there is resistance like a permanent magnet stepper motor. But when the 3 power leads disconnected, the wheel rotates smooth - like the other wheel. Even with the battery disconnected, if I reconnect that wheel to power, it gets the resistance feel again under rotation. Have removed the wheel and it seems fine, and there was no crash that would have damaged it. This issue started after the first ride and when I tried to recharge. Have confirmed a good battery and that it charges by swapping parts to a 2nd board. Am thinking a power device (transistor that controls the wheel) on the main board is fried. Looking for any help if someone has seen the same or may know from experience. Thanks,

What happens if the gyroscope from the other side is broken, where the battery is, it is the same gyroscope that I need to buy ?

will this also work with the bigger stronger Bluetooth boards?

Only one side of my hoverboard stops working and if going at speed throws me off. But only happens sometimes. Could it be the same problem? Any thoughts?

My SEGWAY isn't working after 20 minutes of riding. One side it works normally but the other is like you have it use pure force to make it move and most of the time it doesn't. how do I fix this problem?!

I have had 3 in the past, 2 of my other ones shat themselves and I’ve had my current one for 6-7 years and it’s had no problems, only problem I have is the battery doesn’t last on mine, due to battery ageing and degradation

Same thing happened to me but it's fixed now, it's the gyroscope that fucks with it.

I step on my swegway and it freaks out. It shakes and it goes right and doesn't let me move in any other direction

I just opened my segwa it worked for 4 mins in the house then two blue lights came on and they won't go off. has anyone had this problem and what can I do. I have contacted the company but it's christmas so no replies. any help would be great I'm trying to run the battery out but I'm not sure it will work even after that. I'm totally gutted as it cost me a lot to buy.

why does every body always if something broken just sell it or buy replacement parts i had the same problem and the connector was broken i pulled it of and soldered the cables directle onto the board and it works prfectly

When i try to turn my segway on, the green battery flashes and the front lights flash. After a while of holding down the button it finally goes back to normal and i can ride perfectly fine. PLEASE HELP!!!

Mine is really tight in the middle to the extent that it won't turn unless my feet are at the very end touching the sides. If I stand normally the pivot is so tight it basically won't turn at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, my Hoverboard gives a annoying wobble at high speed. I used a digital tachometer, and found one wheel is spinning a bit faster than the other. I believe this is causing the wobble, as my other Hoverboard the wheels spin at the same speed (RPMs). I've tried calibrating but didn't fix the problem. Can anyone help. Thanks.
