Huh, that's strange. I have the post-9/11 PAL version with *all* of these things removed. Except for the scream when Spider-Man falls off a building. Perhaps that one was deemed as fine somewhere down the line in the European market.

I never actually thought to check the differences that might have been present on my PAL copy, the footage I used for post/911 on the video was NTSC I believe, I used emulator to record it for the highest quality. I'll have to check that out and confirm if the scream is still there on my PAL version.

These "Pre-9/11 and Post-9/11 changes" has always been an interesting topic for me. Great job on the video!

Great coverage! I always heard about the post-9/11 changes to Enter Electro but I've never seen the gameplay altercations. Also had no idea a Japanese version was released a whopping whole year later!

Very nice video. I knew most of the changes already but learned a few that you pointed out. I also find it interesting that the JP release had it's own kind of changes made. The only other game I know about that had some changes in development after the 9/11 attacks was GTA 3. There's some vids that note the changes they made that affected some missions, etc.

The Japanese version was the main inspiration for this video, because I've never seen or heard anyone talk about the changes present in that version.
